hopefully we can stick with the same back 4 for the rest of the run in. especially the next two or three tricky away days. Title will be neck and neck or in our favour if we hold our own in these games. we have a strong 13 players but the squad lacks real depth, that's my worry especially in the wing back positions.

learned a few things tonight on our first clean sheet in ages. That is our best and most balanced defence for the style of footy we play, we dominated a stuffy side for a good 70 mins who intended to park the bus and hit on the break, Erskine is different class and unplayable (even he's not sure what he's doing next) and last but no means least, don't even think of interviewing Billy Reid for the jags job...!

The seating estimate sounds abour right. Most of the seating is the wde benches. I would say that would account for at least 3000 the rest made up of a couple of hundred in the cowshed and the main stand making up the rest. Will have their work cut out making SPL standard without getting one of their millionaires to throw the kitchen sink at it...and urinals for the toilets abt the same time...!

yesterday was a great day out.. pity we did not get the end bit off the cowshed, that would have ramped up the atmosphere no end..! the place is a grade A listed shitehole but that's probably what made it good. if I remember correctly the benches we were all standing on in the wde were from the old centenary stand at ibrox..!

I thought we played well today, would have played sod at RB instead of welsh however as he is not a natural defender, that's the best back 4 we have with Archie as cover. thought the substitutions were good and made a difference at that time of the game. Apart from the sending off, a good team performace against a battling team who don't give up. Morton will drop points and so will we before the end of the season, will go right to the wire I feel. I think next two games are must win..!

winning games improves attendances, the price of the ticket and being shite limits them. Getting the attendaces up needs to be long term thing. I think what the jags are doing with the kids is commendable, we need to get paying adults into the ground however in the short term. How about letting anyone not in work in on a concession price. I know at least a few of my mates don't go because of the price, bring in unemployed concession and they will be back.

I fear the worst for the pars. The players never got their full wages again, just a matter of time before they succum to the bank I'm afraid. Not good to see them dropping to Div 3 like Sevco if they go tits up as they have a decent crowd. will give Sevco a run for their money if it happens however. its us or Morton for the league, livvy are the new outsiders.

I hope the BOD take as much time as possible to the the right person to take the club forward. We should be in no hurry to appoint unless things take a nosedive big time. I cant see that happening with the decision to appoint a couple of legends in the saddle for now.
