  1. Really disappointed with the casual wear released so far by Joma and the prices are a bit silly for the material being used..... Whilst it can be hard to expect Joma to produce bespoke training/casual wear for a club our size I would expect better design and quality. I'm not hopeful for our actual strip from what I've seen
  2. I was 9 for My first Jags game - it was the Scottish cup tie Vs Aberdeen on 3rd Jan 1990 when we got beaten 6-2. I'm pretty sure it was 2-2 at half time - I remember chic charnley scored and think he may have got sent off too?? My upstairs neighbour Mark Watson and his brother James took me and we were right in the middle of the shed-I was sitting on the concrete railing thingy on the terraces and distinctly remember being carried forward by fans down the terrace when we scored! I got lifted over the turnstile and spent my admission money on pies! (-: My first away match was a dufc cup replay that was played at Kilbowie.
  3. Would love to get a brick for me and my son (due end of July) would be brilliant!! (-:
  4. Electronic entry & season ticket prices frozen for existing season ticket holders and U16 still go free http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/mobile/sport/sfl/new-move-just-the-ticket-for-jags-fans-124358n.21086502
  5. Would love to have a copy of that, definitely needed - would be a real money spinner for the jags
  6. Was at Kelvingrove museum seeing the football exhibition a few weeks back - they are pushing subbuteo big time in the gift shop - lots of OF team packs no jags - bloody typical .....
  7. A bit disappointed PTFC hasn't issued a statement condoning the behavior of the ugly sisters' fans.. It would send out a strong message to scottish football that we do not condone or tolerate such behavior - seems to me the board are happy to take the revenue and keep quiet about it. As for no actual of fences being commited????? - flares being lit in the stands(public safety), seats being ripped up(criminal damage, vsndalism) - pyros being thrown at the Celtic defenders from the north stand and also sectarian singing. to name but a few. Disgusting behavior
  8. What an amazing day at fortress firhill yesterday, great weather , 2 great sets of fans and a goal fest of a game with an exciting finish plus 2 pitch invasions - what a great advert for PTFC, the type of football we play and the type of club we are!!! ForEverAndEver One wee shame is that the team only celebrated with the trophy to half JHS and north stand, alot of fans didnt get to see trophy up close.
  9. When does the ticket booth behind JH open ?
  10. Anyone know what time ticket booth will be open from on Saturday (traveling down from north aberdeenshire) Thanks in advance
  11. Remember Dortmunds last home champs league game when they raised that netting with the big motif on it- perhaps something similair and more permanent with thistle logos and perhaps more sponsor logos etc? Would help enclose the ground?
  12. Disappointing that you can't get tickets over the phone, coming down from north of aberdeen on Saturday with no guarantee of tickets
  13. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/dundee-united-facing-cash-crisis-1838701 Haha - and that's the cheating scumbag who scored with his hand against us in the cup a few seasons back ...
  14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/22049050 <<< on NOW also jags chairman on sportsound just after 7 pm regarding league reconstruction
  15. john lambie is on sportsound tonight before the raith commentary picking his thistle all time 11, should be good.
  16. Accies are holding a specialy convened meeting amongst divison 1 teams on monday (i assume the jags are attending) in the hope to come up with a proposal for SPL2 in time for next season. I really hope thistle puts the brakes on this idea, i think an SPL2 would be terrible. everyone in football wants a pyramid structure with play-offs in every division, including to and from bottom of last division and juniors everyone wants re-distribution wealth to lower leagues everyone wants larger divisions (surely 3 leagues of 14 makes the most sense) everyone wants the unification of SFL and SPL with football management completely streamlined. I just do not know why this has to come at the expense of ridiculously complicated and strange league structure. knowing how bad the SPL has been run the idea of an SPL2 is just as baulking. the powers that be have such a great chance to completely re-vitalise scottish football, my concern is that any change like SPL2 and 18-12-12 means we will be stuck with it for a long time. much bigger and much smaller national leagues do not have such a nonsensical league structure. i am so glad st mirren and ross county voted it all down, lets hope SFL1 teams do the same on monday. hopefuly this will force SFAs hand and step in to help sort it out.
  17. Aberdeen for me - only because pittodrie is 15 mins from my house!
  18. Surely the management has been telling the lads that moves to "bigger" SPL clubs is not necessarily what it is cracked up to be....look at the teams below Ross County right now.... Keep a good team together with winning mentality and strengthen a bit if possible and anything can happen. Players have already expressed an interest of playing for thistle in the SPL, it's not their fault the board is hanging back from offering contracts till they know what division we are in. If we can meet terms with these players then fantastic, if not they deserve to go on and be able to earn extra money - and I will thank them for a their efforts during this glorious season.
  19. Will the jags get presented with the trophy on the day they win the league or perhaps wait till next home game or something??
  20. I've got to say that whilst the thistle performance and outcome was poor it was still a fantastic day to be a thistle fan! Standing in the north stand with my pregnant wife and experiencing the jubilation of that goal and the awesome support throughout the entire 120 minutes was amazing! And even tho he is not due till August my baby experienced it all too (apparently from 26 weeks they can hear everything!) And hopefully won't be in his mid thirties until he experiences another jags cup final!! So wish I could be at firhill for tomorrow nights game too-can only imagine what the atmosphere will be like! (-:
  21. Just got a text from an Arab mate who says over on one of the dufc forums that the big rumour today is that bannigan will be off to united......
