Looking at the communications emerging I have an over-riding sense of sadness. I thought we had got all the politics and infighting out the way with the removal of the last Board, it seems not. Many fans just want to see a positive attitude on the pitch, not more distractions off it.

Still no comment from TJF on the ousting of the Club Chairman. The email today focuses exclusively on the new investment.

The problem with a short ‘no further comment’ statement is that it leaves a vacuum for speculation to take root and grow. Some commentary from TJF may be helpful in reducing this speculation.

Germany does football attendance in style. A few years ago I was able to book tickets to see Hertha Berlin v Augsburg from the UK - and then sit with a litre of beer in the sunshine watching the game.

Keown was good in his first season for us, seemed to lose confidence & form after that
