Credit where credit is due. Big Dan was immense today. Have to admit his header in the first half was unlucky but liked the fact he must've got a lot of power in it for it to hit the back of Cerny and slip past the post according to Radio Scotland
It's probably got a lot to do with timing. I was unemployed for three years under Thatcher and when I got back to work one of the first things I did was buy a walkman. All the Best Cowboys came out just at the right time for it to be one of the first ones I bought and it never seemed to be taken out the bag I took to work, so was played quite regularly and still is on my Ipod. Although, it's a bit wordy and awkward for that; I still really like it. I've always liked Townshend's voice and the way that he produces the backing vocals to enhance choruses (I really like Angie's Peppermint Lump for that) and actually I like the songs too.
As always Barney you are a man who loves the Who, whether it's here or on TAMB but then again they are a bit special although I'm more inclined towards Who's Next and Townshends' All the Best Cowboys
The Good News is SITB 16 is here; the bad news is for one issue we are asking for £3 as we have to clear some debts to our long suffering printer. However, in other good news I will be selling the Scotland Epistles fanzine #3 and will combine the price of two for a fiver. Here is the ebay link for the SITB;

Don't forget to bring a ****** ya bawbags! (Funny that you can use the plural but not the singular, mind you I'm pretty glad I ain't got a singular one.)
Team for Saturday then; Thomas Cherny, Garry Millar, Kallum Boothe, Frederick France, Dan SeeBorn, Stewart Brannigan, Shaun Welch, Robby Moorehead, Rhiann Edwards, Kevin NISBET and Stevie Lawleff
Just when Thistle need everybody to get behind the team, the feckin mascot decides to go on holiday. What chance does Archie have with support like this.
Let's not forget Dundee United have been relegated before with good players in their team. You never know it might turn out like Hibs a few seasons back coasting it mid-table and then couldn't buy a win.
