  1. or, to widen the point, why didn't we play this match back in november on the international weekend when scotland didn't have a fixture, and top tier teams had a weekend off, as i and other posters suggested. as i commented at the time and was proven correct, several weeks before that free weekend, not only would thistle and aberdeen have few if any callups for other nations, almost all top tier clubs could justifiably brought the fixtures scheduled for thirtieth december forward. i also noted long range forecast was not favourable and worsening as the month of december wore on (hardly surprising admittedly for scotland for time of year, but still a valid consideration to check). two saturday call offs for us this month already, and now tonights match may fall to weather. we are not the only club to have had matches postponed this month, and tonight will likely see a number of games fall victim to the weather. another two months likely of more call offs lie ahead, so fixture backlog and lots of midweek matches lie ahead this season. as soon as scotland were confirmed not to be in euro playoffs, the authorities should have acted. that way at least, the round of matches scheduled this midweek would have been fulfilled in november. but what do the fans know. in fact, why bother thinking about the fans, the lifeblood of scottish football. why care what they have to suffer or be faced with, especially in wild winter weather travelling to matches or shivering in cold concrete stands. why bother being forward thinking or proactive to make our game attractive, and encourage fans to turn up and pay their hard earned. i could stand on this soapbox all day and rant about this subject. and still i would have more to vent about. plenty more suggestions and solutions too. but why bother. no one's listening. none of our spfl leaders care about the fans. we've been fvcked for years and will continue to be fvcked for as long it stays the cartel of cvnts.
  2. misunderstanding you i may be, but trying to suggest are you mr potty, that the accies caley games kickoff has been deemed a three o'clock start by the football authorities to ensure caley fans can get home that day by train? ..... so a three o'clock kickoff for the convenience of a few dozen tuechters being able to get home after the game, at the inconvenience for five, six, seven, eight, nine hundred accies fans who will be unable to attend due to work? on that basis, i'd ask when's the last train to glasgow from aberdeen? ..... and why isn't our game tomorrow a three pm kickoff?
  3. and as for all these wins on the spin .....
  4. i'm also liking the new us instead of playing 33 then stopping, we've upped it to 45 and for both sides results in last nine games back this up and prove we are currently playing perfectly in the groove
  5. partick thistle not so cuddly anymore more stylustic nowadays
  6. stevo given the heave ho ho ho ho thanks santa bald merry christmas everyone
  7. hmmmm ..... i'd surmise from the posts above that pinhead had lindaus linked artiste on their bedroom wall growing up ..... while woodstock had the following on their bedroom wall .....
  8. no coincidence. last time jags won four in a row in top flight was 1977 ..... when (the first fly_on_the_wall documentary of) star wars (episode iv) was released on your earthling world. this week, the latest star wars was given to you all ..... its release specifically timed to coincide with the long foresaw repeat of jags making it four in a row and to mark the anniversaries of our 1977s mutual four. may the four_in_a_row be with you
  9. i've got more chance of being next chelsea manager than any of these three rotten charlatans. eta ..... to clarify, "three rotten charlatans" is in reference to suggested names of next chelsea manager, and not in any way a reference to any or all of the posters quoted.
  10. ^^^^^ that report is from 20th october ..... and since then sod has not featured for luton ..... until the weekend just past, where he was an unused sub, so possible he's had hernia or ankle or both ops in last two months? and the manager john still was sacked this morning too.
  11. my twin sister that is, in first picture, my association to any other insinuations ends there ..... the adding of my picture to imply we are one and the same is just another internet lie ..... yes she was young, yes she needed the money, yes she went to the dark side like anakin and some others also did, but all choose our parents children and siblings, we can't.
  12. take offence to that remark, i was going to ..... but then i realised, at over nine hundred years old, quite happy to be viewed as middle aged i am.
  13. i note ratnamara has instilled remarkable consistency into york and is taking them to a new level ..... seven games seven defeats and now bottom of the fourth tier. absolutely tremendous.
  14. i'd love it jeff, absolutely love it, if we were to sign the legendary bridge on a cheeky precontract, and leaked the pic to the press (though reporting scotland will still blank it). be even funnier if it also came out we were offered paton on a free or a swapsie, and we roared with laughter down the phone for five minutes before hanging up the phone on snake thompson. even archie was tempted away by the dark side of tayside for a while, no reason why the bridge can't follow the same realisation that maryhill is a wonderful home for him, and return to cement his place as a decade plus, legendary jaggy icon too. come home chris ..... dundee will always be a shitehole
  15. tremendous news, a statement of intent, and proof not only is the force is still strong in yoda, but my crystal ball is back from the blink http://www.wearethistle.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/11202-inverness-match-thread-saturday/page__view__findpost__p__239876
  16. media bias ..... in the uk ..... who'd have thought it?
  17. larry grayson always appeared to be a happy man, perhaps it's him?
  18. produce when under pressure, i usually cannot jeanie especially on a monday morning, when i'm still hungover but it's fair to say the birthday boy, enjoyed his day immensely three straight wins in the league, and also over yinited too.
  19. dundees still a shitehole but i'm starting to like my trips to tannadice. magnificent vocal jags support, eleven jags united in spirit, fight and belief (unlike mixus mixedups), grinding out a one nil smash and grab (where before we've been the victim a number of times), and truly tremendous scenes at the end on and off the park. what a magnificent day to be alive, what a magnificent day to be a jag.
  20. ^^^^^ scathingly harsh but fair. need to do better to win the upcoming pulitzer prize i would guess hmmmm?
  21. song for tomorrow ..... (to tune of i want to go home) twentynine and a day twentynine and a day today kris doolan keeps getting better with every passing day
