  1. As above i've got through having a season ticket, but I rarely sign in to use it. In fact I think i've only logged on twice. So maybe i'm missing stuff, but I don't really know. Doubt I'd miss it if it disappeared.
  2. http://www1.skysports.com/pfascotlandgoaloftheseason Some great goals in there, thinking the same about our defending for the county goal
  3. So that we have a chance of winning?
  4. Perhaps the best opportunity we've had this season to beat them. Decent run of form and they are missing the wee pit bull in midfield.
  5. Good result for us last night, never watched it but heard we were all over them. Good stuff when you consider they are top or near top of their group. Ricky Sbragia though, think he has made an arse of that one, with the comments and leaving him out of the team. I think the guys fathers comments are spot on though.
  6. Interesting, under the "streaks and sequences" we are currently the form team.
  7. Don't think that would have been it, I think it's usually planned further ahead than that. Great to see a Jags player on though, meant they actually spoke about Thistle for longer than 30 seconds after the match.
  8. Usually get searched as of late, but seems to be related to my jacket and nothing else. As it was warm yesterday I had it in my hand and the guy just asked if he could search it, which meant a quick feel (still talking about my jacket btw) and then I was on my way. Doesn't bother me too much, maybe it's because it's a Superdry jacket and they associate it with trouble who knows.
  9. Been saying this for weeks. Really does my head in. We seem to struggle so badly against pish teams that just lump the ball up the park. What's going on with this? Is it the inability to win high balls? Not being quick enough to balls in the midfield?
  10. Just have to put this here again, wife currently thinks i'm insane that this win is brought to me by a dream. But with exception of the scorers i'm bang on track! This would be so typically Thistle to win this one today.
  11. Yaaaass! Wrong scorer for my dream prediction but i'll take that! Come on Jags!
  12. Had a dream last night we were playing Dundee Utd, in the first half Abdul Osman scored a wonder goal from a solo effort and in the second half yours truly added another from outside the box with my left foot, slight deflection but reckon it should still be mine. We were defo 2-0 up after 60 odd minutes but then a jumble sale of second hand VHS tapes broke out in the penalty box much to Gallachers annoyance and then the missus woke me up. Surely this can only be a good omen. Not sure why I bought gladiators on VHS when I have on blu ray though...
  13. Agree with a lot of people on here saying something is not right, effort and fight from the players (with a few exceptions) is no longer there and the performances as well around the same time. Reasons for AA to step down really are mounting up now. If dressing room unrest is true, then add that to the other issues and I think he is finished to be honest, i'm not sure how many managers have come back from something like that. For months going back before the Hamilton game it was starting to feel like the team had been found out, now it really does seem to be the case. We were so predictable for so long, all it would take is for other managers to sit with their players and watch the games over again and see our tactics don't really change that much and the formation pretty much never changes. For this to happen and for AA not to try and change it, does concern me given he has had time to try a different approach and a transfer window to bring in the players to do so. Something that infuriates me week after week is the delivery of the ball into the box, it's truly terrible. Do we practice this in training? Does anyone else think this every week or is it just me. It also seems a lot of the time when we have the option to hit the byline we don't bother and instead go for another ineffective cross. So frustrating man. For me the team lacks a midfield general, a ball winner, who can pick out a decent forward pass and dictate our play. We just don't have this just now. Sacking the manager isn't always the answer and I hope he turns it around. For me that doesn't necessarily mean immediate wins, but things certainly need to change and we need to play better at least.
  14. Would have liked to have seen Lawless and Stevenson both in today, perhaps rest Bannigan. Not particularly hopeful today, but who knows! Mon Thistle!
  15. Frustrating to see us go from being quite sharp in defence and not losing late goals anymore. To the defence becoming a problem again and now we concede early goals... F*cking hell man, I think I preferred it the other way round, least you could enjoy the game until the end. The theory on the ever changing line up may be part of it, another different back four and also Fox instead of Gallagher. Since we were a goal down I found and it was very quiet in the main stand I took the time to reflect on what had happened in the Hamilton game compared with what is going on now. We seemed to have the tactics spot on for that game and then we didn't see them again, why the hell is that? Why aren't we hitting the byline and cutting back and hunting in packs, with sharp passing deep in the opposition half... What happened to that? Why do we insist on getting outside the box and then lobbing in a substandard ball. Last night Celtic looked right up for that game, wanted to be first to every single ball, seemed to fight a lot harder for it than we did the majority of the time. With a few exceptions in our team.
  16. A few crunching tackles on key players might influence things with the Milan game in mind. We need to do everything right though and put the last two performances out of their heads.
  17. Would also agree with this. Also, did I meet you in the Lansdowne before the game? I'm usually always up the back of the North Stand with my brother, slotted into a group of people who mostly will always join in any singing and a good few of them around me will start a few songs, regardless of what the score is or how the team are playing. But I feel like a crowd of us sing on our own unless we are winning, it's a bit disappointing, standing in silence and moaning about the game isn't any fun. I wish it was more like the German leagues, can be 4-0 down but you still won't shut us up.
  18. BB for me, early stages was just so I could play for the football team. Later stages was for banter and drinking sessions afterwards. Joined the scouts first, but it was a bunch of weirdos and never went back. Joined is maybe the wrong word... Yes it all was a bit churchy, I remember people trying to convince me to go to Sunday school on, funnily enough Sunday morning. It was a tough decision whether to lie in bed sleeping followed by a mammoth GTA/ProEv session or be bored to death surrounded by old people and young people who's parents forced them to go... Bed and gaming won.
  19. Not too surprised he's gone, style of football Killie were playing was terrible. Going nowhere, actually lucky to be where they are in the league right now given some of the performances this season.
  20. I liked both players, not a massive divide between them. But I prefer Osman I think. Only criticism would be his attacking ability in the opposition half, sometimes he holds the ball a little too long looking for the right pass, giving the opposition time to re-group if it's on the counter. Would like to see him maybe drive forward with it, perhaps have a shot. Unrelated to Osman, is it at all possible to have a thread on here without it descending into the same old arguments?
