The game is being broadcast on BBC Alba on there delayed coverage around 5pm. So if anyone can't attend, could be a shout to try and avoid the score and watch it almost live just after the full time whistle.

Dundee United v Thistle confirmed for Wednesday 25th September according the SPFL website.

That would now mean we are on Sky Sports for 3 consecutive fixtures with Inverness, Celtic and Aberdeen all being shown live on Sky.

To be honest i would be happy with anyone at home as the old saying goes. Have a really good feeling we can get a good run in this cup for a change.

There was a guy at the Airdrie at home game who i heard saying giving Archibald the job "would be the biggest mistake this club ever made and we can kiss good bye to promotion". Funilly haven't seen him around recently.

When i was listening to BBC Radio Scotland last night on Sportsound they said it was live from Firhill but they never mentioned if the show thats usually of from 6.10 to 7 was from there or they would have live commentary after the show as well.

Never mind the fact that potentially there could be no relegation or promotion every season if the teams from 9-12 were the top 4 in the middle 8 every season. Not likely but still a possibility.

The trophy always gets presented at the last home game unless the title goes to the last day and it gets presented then. When we won the 1st Division in 2001/2002 we got presented with it in the last home game v Raith Rovers not the final game away to Inverness.

The thing i dont get about this new 12-12-18 is how would you actually win the first division? If after 22 games the top 4 merge with the bottom 4 of the SPL. Do they get the trophy then and the prizemoney for finishing first? or does the team that win the middle 8 win the first division? or does the highest place first division team in the middle 8 get it? which could therefore mean than you could win the league but because you came 5th in the middle 8 you don't get promoted. A complete shambles. If they aren't going to expand the league then i would actually take the current top flight set up with the fairer distribution of funds, and add a play off between 11th in SPL and 2nd in the First Division and one governing body. This 8-8-8 league is madness and can't happen.

I don't think they actually do have covers, i am sure St Johnstone loaned them covers when they were trying to get there game on earlier this season in the Scottish Cup so i would not be surprised if the photo is from that time.
