It isn't Thistle supporters who got the team relegated.Considering our results over the last16 months our supporters have shown they don't just support the team when their winning.

You replied to my post stating these things, if they are not aimed at me why use it as a reply to my post?

This is a forum the only way to comment is by using a keyboard.I have never commented on what Archibald does during the game as I couldn't tell you as I am watching the game and not the manager.I am not greeting like a spoilt brat demanding the manager be sacked,infact if you go to the Ayr at home game thread I said he would get to Christmas.If you want to quote me ,quote me correctly as I said anybody who supports Thistle should be concerned with our form since we got into the top 6,not just after 1 league game.

Celebrations,lets bring them back for Thistle fans.

I would suggest that both Sandy and PT always stick up for Archie.We were getting told by them for all of last season that we would not go down because Archie would get us out of it.Everybody has their opinion but I would be surprised that if anybody who was a Thistle fan was not concerned at our form since we got into the top 6,16 months ago.We are on a downward spiral which at the moment shows no sign of ending.Big game this Saturday for both managers. This.

Think they should have them on sale before and after the Falkirk game next week.

Constantly saying we all have one aim and that is promotion will not win promotion.We have to sign players and win games.At the moment we seem to be a shambles.

As I have said before wasn't at the game last week because of recovering from hernia op,but I hope to be back next week.WW I agree that our results have been terrible over the past 16months.I just think that now our board has backed our management team to get us back up they will not sack them anytime soon.I said in a thread last week we would probably give Archie until December to see how things are going,if it doesn't improve I would hope they do something a lot sooner than that.Agree wth you re Jackie Campbell.

They will still be calling fans knicker wetters as they did last season,while they were assuring us that Archie would keep us up.

I am in know way at all sticking up for our management, as I agree that our record since we got top 6 has been terrible.But since our management team survived getting us relegated I do not see them being sacked or walking away anytime soon. I do not see how anyone who has any connection to Thistle is not concerned by our form over the last 16months.It has not been a gradual decline but a dramatic fall which shows no sign of being halted.

Cant prove it,but I think if our previous manager hadn't left we would not have been promoted 2012/13.Archie found a way for us to win away from home and he was unbeaten in the 1stDiv.For all the seasons after that he improved us until last season which was terrible.He will hopefully sort it out this season,if he doesn't imo he will be gone.But for 41/2 seasons he done a very good job lets hope there is more to come.

Is this not the Thistle fans default position?

After the board backing Archie and Archie agreeing to try and get us promotion,he isn't going to be sacked or walk not just after 4 games .I would expect/hope he has been given targets by the board and if they are not met I would then expect to see change. I would also agree with the forum members with regard to the name calling.It does nobody any good and we are all Thistle supporters and want to see us do as well as we can.Lets get behind the team.

Due to me still recovering from a hernia op I had just over a week ago I was not in my usual spot in the jls.So I had to depend on the interweb to keep up with the game.Going by what has been said on here it certainly was like watching an old movie which we had hoped had been binned.But we did not sack the manager at any point last season and have chosen to stick by him to get us promotion,imo we have to give him up to Christmas now and hope that he has like he has said learned from his mistakes. He said in interviews today we need 4 more players in and he hopes to have somebody in before next weeks game against Ayr in the league.On a personal note I would like to thank Partickthedog who offered to pick me up from my house,take me to Firhill,then drive me home again today but I had to turn his very kind offer down.I hope to back at Firhill for the Falkirk game in a few weeks time,lets hope we have a good result at Ayr next week to build on.
