Slagging off Scotland supporters - whats happened have we all turned into OF fans?

My copy wasn't moved from classified, it was removed from my house in Middlesbrough by a cheeky burglar who clearly wanted to see some quality action, and that was before Kris Boyd signed! If anybody does know it they can still be bought I would be very interested.

Bought my first A League tickets for this weekends clash of the Titans! Melbourne Heart vs Melbourne Victory, only to see the game moved for some joke of a sport called Aussie Rools! (Hope nobody in Victoria reads this, I could get lynched).

Whilst I agree it is highly amusing and gives me personally great pleasure to see either half of the OF get humped, it certainly is making us the laughing stock of the footie world. I have had the misfortune to spend a considerable part of my adult life in exile, while in Engerland they all laughed at the OF and with reason, but now even the bloody Aussies are laughing at us! On that performance, the Tims would struggle over here. Rangers in the same group as Man Utd - God help us! watch another rollong over. Fergie will no doubt tell his boys to go easy and just as well! So to sum up, while the debacle and OF diddiness is a national embarassment I will enjoy it all the same!

and once the the capacity was increased, the TV moved all the matches vs th Ugly Sisters to different days and times and televised them. We never got close to filling the place! I am still angry about how badly we have been treated by the authorities over the years and while it may not directly excuse the shambles of a BoD we have now it probably has had a fair degree of influence in their thinking and decision making!

What a good post ! This makes up for all the negative drivel we not only watch but have to read on here also! When you have a team, thats it, you can't pick and choose and change when the going gets tough - good grief we would have had no fans left if thats how we all behaved ove the years! It would be great to have been born in Barcelona and have that link to such a good team but I wasn't and it was destined to be Thistle. I can live with that, whatever happens because any alternative is just unthinkable! As they say down here at the bottom of the world " Good on You " Mr Chewingummacaroonbaaaz!

Well it looks like Steve H and Hot Shot have now disected the problem and I think the points you both come up with are exactly the point! Quite apart from the quality of job and getting paid for it that the directors do, and not just Mr Pretntice, its the reaction of fans thats the point. Now I believe everybody has a right to an oopinion and to take whatever action, but if you truley believe the BoD are doing a bad job (and I think most folk on here to one degree or another think this is the case)then perhaps rather than walking away they should do something. There have been numerous posts on here suggesting a combined effort but even the response to those are minimal compared to the pages given to critisism.

I agree with the more balanced view expressed by Jaggyman above. For all I know Mr Prentice spend alot of hours at the club and just how "Thistle minded" do you need to be. I am not sure its appropriate or fair to expect Mr Prentice or any other director to work for nothing. Does anybody else? If your employer is going through tough times, do you offer to do without wages? Just how "Thistle minded" are those fans that have stopped turning up?
