  1. I suspect we are well below that, both in ability and finances
  2. So would I, but it's unlikely to happen
  3. When all are fit and available, I expect Hazard, McMillan, Anderson, Saunders, Harkins and Cardle to start
  4. But 6 of the probable starting 11 will be new players
  5. We replaced a lot of players who had a losing mentality. So far the new guys have shown some fighting spirit, although we need to convert that into results or it could fall away again.
  6. Technically there may be a slight improvement Mentally, the improvement is huge
  7. It’s just like watching us play. We couldn’t sign a striker if deadline day went on to March
  8. I know from speaking to someone at the club that this is not true
  9. Did Lennox not come from Cowdenbeith ? Happy with both those loans .... Bell away from the club and Lennox to get more game time
  10. I'd be happy with a forward and a defensive mid.
  11. I think that Archibald's stock is very low at the moment. Can't see him getting any Premier League job.
  12. Plus McGinty and we also have Gordon and O'Ware when they come back from injury
  13. He has also given Fitz a chance so I think it’s a case of doing the job and age is not a factor
  14. At their best, both would do very well with their new Premier League clubs. On form over the past year they will not.
  15. Carefull. The forum police will be onto you for mentioning “the P word” don’t you know that in our situation that is a rediculous suggestion.
  16. Sounds like we had a number of players who played well. I just hope that the injuries (Cardle, Banzo, Fizpatrick, Hazard) will all clear up quickly.
  17. But you have to remember that in some peoples minds, everything that Caldwell does is wrong.
  18. Think I chucked all my 1970’s trousers years ago
  19. It's not often that you can say a squad is improved by a player leaving.
  20. I do not think it would be right for the board to respond on an unofficial fans forum. Other than that, I can't disagree with anything you say.
  21. I would not have chosen Harkins for exactly that reason and I did say that how the money saved on Erskine was reinvested was another issue.
  22. It matters because as a manager, if you know a player is going to have to be replaced at some point, it restricts the tactical options that you have available. Don't get me wrong. Erskine was brilliant and among my fave ever Jags, but that was in the past and there is no room for sentiment. For my money, it was the right time for him to move on.
  23. 2 games (a cup cameo and 80 minutes midweek). I am told he was rank in both. When was the last time he played 90 minutes ?
