Further to what our Grand Master of the Jedi Order says, although there are 3 nominees for 3 vacancies, there is nothing to say that all of the vacancies will be filled from the nominees. Just look at what a mess our friends in high places can make of a simple cup draw, or of setting league fixtures.

I think we could acomodate both Gordon and Dumbaya if we had Ziggy at full back and Muzzy pushed further forward I'd rather find a solid experienced central defender though. I think there are options with Syme or Elliott until Muzzy is fit, but the defence looks young, so an old head to talk them through games would be a better option for me.

True, but I hope that WGS has noted that England struggled every time to break down a well organised defence. If we can play with our heads rather than our hearts,I think that we can take them. I know we will then lose home and away to Malta, but I do think that we can beat them.

I hope it includes an experienced defender. The current backline looks very young (as well as short on numbers) so I think that we need an older head to talk them through the game. However, if we don't get said player, if you're good enough, you're old enough

The powers that be have said that the fixtures wont be changed and there will be no compensation. I don't think they are burying their head in the sand, just saying **** you.

It's an option I had always wondered what it would look like, and I think I like it. I'm glad to see that the balance of red to yellow is better than last season which was too red for me. I can see a purchase coming on.

BB. Can I thank you for organising this and all of the other competitions you have run. I know it must take up a lot of your spare time, but it is a lot of fun for me and I'm sure others.

Portugal look very iffy. I suspect that Iceland have a better chance of beating England than Portugal do.

4th in a group of 6. We didn't deserve to qualify.

The only grounds would be if the computer program used to compile the fixtures contained an algorythm that gave us a sporting disadvantage. For instance if it was hard coded that Dundee would get 4 OF games, then there are grounds. If it was just the luck of the draw then I can't see us having any where to go. We have all protested that Rangers are a new club, so we can't now say there's a precedent.
