I'm pleased that we are talking to Gary Miller. He had been the obvious absentee from any discussion gossip, so good to see him in there. No surprises in the others.

I can't see Duggan getting another deal from us. I think he is 22 now, so if he was going to make it he would have done so by now. Kevin Nisbett is more likely to make the grade

I have to agree and take this with a large pinch of salt. I would be surprised if Archie was wanting to finalise any deals, particularly for a likely top earner, until our top flight status is mathematically secure. That said, the source might well have come via Banzo's agent, wanting to flush out any alternative offers.

Calling this a "must win" is a bit over-hype. TBH I'm a bit flat after Ross and not terribly bothered by the rest of the season. We're not going to get relegated and nothing much to fight for, although lose the next 3 and other results go the wrong way and I might get more interested. A 0-0 would suite both sides, so I suspect that is what we will get.

It may be a bit early for such chat, but Connor Sammon will be out of contract at Derby in the summer. He's been on loan 3 times lately, so is clearly not part of Derby's plans. He might be worth a punt as a target man, although I suspect that bigger clubs than us might be fishing.
