  1. So in short, to avoid the disruption of moving fans for the visit of Celtic once or twice, we move them permanently to the poorest stand in the ground on the promise that it'll have a neice shiny sink and flags draped over. What a load of nonsense! I sit in the JHS but the sound and atmosphere created by the NS is fantastic and helps enhance the matchday experience. As others have said, there are far easier solutions available than this which seems to have been drawn up on the hoof, probably following a few criticisms from other SPFL chairmen!
  2. Petition duly signed. I took out a season ticket last year for the first time in years and sit in the JHS. However the noise from the NS is excellent and really does help generate an atmosphere right around the ground. There doesn't seem to be a compelling argument from the club to say why this stand should be handed over to away fans so until I hear differently I'll keep my money in my pocket. Is David Beattie related to Mike Ashley at Newcastle? He's another one who makes ridiculous decisions when the team are doing well!!
  3. That was absolutely brilliant. Loved the wee bit at the end showing the league table changing after each game. Some brilliant goals and performances by guys who through injury or form dipping haven't featured much lately! Every single player who has played this season has played their part in a historic season. Enjoy your holidays guys cos you've more than earned it.
  4. I thought the SFA had recognised this loophole and had introduced a fast track appeal process to stop clubs making "frivolous" appeals and playing the syatem to ensure the player was available. In this case the appeal should be heard this week to ensure a decision is made before St Mirrens next game.
  5. We are all Jamie Hamill!
  6. Hearts have just equalised from the penalty spot- 1-1 with 2 mins left
  7. And they're also a goal down!
  8. We had 2 or 3 players who didn't perform as well as they can but we still claimed the points. As mentioned above I've never been a big fan of the split but I'm really looking forward to them now. I wonder if Archie will revert to his usual formation for next week. Was Banzo suspended for just 1 game?
  9. That bit of magic from Banzo has to feature on Soccer AM next week - great tekkers
  10. Probably all in the wrong era - sign of old age!
  11. Sammy Johnston? Nicky Henderson? John (psycho) Workman?
  12. Where did you hear that? I'm pretty sure it'll be off as there's no sign of the rain going off.
  13. Good question. Based on the size of the queue it seemed like the majority bought on the day. I managed to buy mine on the supporters bus which was a stroke of luck.
  14. I thought our defence and full backs in particular were less willing to show for the short pass from Gallagher. It's probably a confidence thing with the pressure of not having won at home and the fear of being the one who makes the mistake that costs us a goal.
  15. I picked mine up tonight and the guy said they'd sold about 700. Once they stand behind the goals sells out their won't be any additional tickets - the overspill area is being retained for St MIrren fans.
  16. That song, followed by "where's your famous atmosphere" were lyrical highlights for me.
  17. You need to go into settings, then into mail, contacts, calendars. Then click on add account, click other, click add subscribed calendar and copy and paste the link to add fixtures.

  19. He picked up a foot injury in training on Friday.
  20. Sorry Harry, I'd misunderstood. We do both have ST's.
  21. I just queued up and went through the second turnstile marked for season ticket holders. His flashed green and so did mine so it didn't seem to differentiate between adult and child.
  22. I take my 15 year old ST holding son and we go through the same turnstile.
  23. At the game I thought Gabby was at fault for the 2nd and 3rd goals. Having seen the "highlights" he tracks Zola for the first then when the ball comes in and Zola doesn't get it, it's as if gabby thinks "I've done my job" and switches off. Instead of staying with Zola he gets drawn to the ball. I'm sure the coaching staff will point out all our errors and hope we learn from this.
