Another great venture - thanks BB, 11-1, Auld Jag and everyone else for entering into the spirit. Generally I often let a WC pass me by as rarely can watch a game live if my heart isn't bothered about the outcome - ie Thistle only, but enjoyed a lot of the football on show this year largely as a result of the added interest from the start.

A fair assessment. It does grate though when some of the pundits are trying to comment on us without any real interest. It would be nice just for once to have a mainstream regular commentator coming from Thistle ranks.

re the OP...Maybe worth pointing out game played on a saturday rather than midweek? We do seem to get the rough too many times with our fixtures (insert favourite conspiracy theory here - I have my own)

why not?

Short of the unthinkable to sell up and have a smaller purpose built ground elsewhere - ground share with Queens Park especially if the blue & green segments of the game get their way for the bigger games maybe? - agree it is unlikely we can do much for now sadly. The cost for redevelopment would be astronomical especially if we retained the main stand fascade which we all identify with. All we can do is keep trying the lottery and hope we have another Weir family in our midst.

As a trout fisher might be my only salmon of the year. I'm hooked.
