  1. Are the folk who called for Doolan and Sammon to start together, now saying Doolan & Sammon shouldn't start together?
  2. Not really. Beat county and Hamilton beat Dundee and we are a point off 10th with 2 to play. One of them against the 10th place side.
  3. James Craigan was the real hero of cornergate.
  4. They can't. They are normally worn by female hospitality staff. They're cracking though. Wouldn't mind one, myself.
  5. "Joma 50Y" its the only one worth considering. Obviously this is a blank canvas. Red and yellow hoops with a black collar. White shorts and red socks. I'd be happy with that.
  6. If anyone fancies it, I'm hosting a Grasping The Thistle watch back, at 9pm tonight over on Twitter. Everyone press play at 9pm and we can chat and have a laugh on the hashtag #graspingthethistle Part 1 is here... Warning, there will probably be floods of tears at the end of part 4 as he stands in his dookit tending his pigeons .
  7. Especially as you are insistent on including our results against top 6 teams... heading into a round of games in the bottom 6. Change your stats etc to only include games v bottom 6 teams and see how your stats read,
  8. And again, very similar to the stuff I said in the posted you selectively quoted.
  9. Who have we won our 6 games against, whilst being shite?
  10. Whilst I appreciate you quoting my post, selectively quoting it and deleting the bits where I say we are similar to County and accies, and striving to be a motherwell/st johnstone/Dundee etc, doesn't help.
  11. We played great football for the whole time Sammon was on the pitch, yesterday. Let's hope they are again this season.
  12. It's very easy to criticise if you aren't actually at the game. But being there I understand why he didn't change from 4231. The formation was working perfectly, we were getting chances, just not finishing them.
  13. And preferable either Dundee or Hamilton, to really bring either right back into it.
  14. Exactly what I said at the time. I don't think it was asked in the Jagzone analysis but it would be interesting to know why he chose to stick with 1 up top. As it transpired I don't think Doolan was much of an improvement but that will come with match sharpness. Hopefully he'll start next time out.
  15. Looking forward to them coming out. Would love us to get Dundee at Firhill first. Followed by a midweek trip to Perth. County at Firhill, Motherwell away with Hamilton at home last game of the season. I take it this is a possibility? After yesterday's spirited performance, I'm looking forward to this run. Well within our capability to finish 10th.
  16. I can see both sides of the Doolan Sammon coin. There's a really strong case for Doolan starting.
  17. Yeah we get it. But, going over the same old points isn't going to change them.
  18. With such opinion you should be getting involved at the club. What an asset you could be. I can't believe a fan who rates his opinion higher than our manager would rather snipe on the sidelines, than help the club in its hour of need.
  19. Woods injured so naturally he had to start Osman. Killie have two big thugs for centre halfs do naturally he went with Sammon. We weren't shite to watch yesterday.
  20. A really hard one to take. I thought at times we were a joy to watch. Playing beautiful one touch football and moving the ball about at pace. At one down it still felt we could get two such as the manner in our play. Come the last five I was just wishing so hard for a deserved equaliser. Scully is not a top level goalie. Not yet anyway. His short play is terrible, moves the ball slowly and never puts a pass in front of the man. If the rest of the team had half the desire and fight shown by Elliott, we wouldn't be in this mess. He fought for everything and was a huge threat going forward. Keown pinged some lovely balls out to booth but looks fragile defensively. No where near the no nonsense ball winner of last season. I don't think Cargill, whilst similar, is a patch on Turnbull. Did his best, but some rush of blood moments in the second half. Booth linked up brilliantly with Lawless, but all too often his final ball is shite. Folk complain Barton looks lazy. Osman is the epitome. So slow and half hearted. A yard off the pace. Looked from the NS he was having a go amat Elliott after he himself had put a wayward pass out of play, summed him up.
