What a game. Great for Messi to land the only trophy missing from the Messi mantlepiece Tough for Mbappe, scored a hit trick and doesn't win. I said at the start of extra time just go to pens this will be a waste of 30 mins!

Agreed, there are good financial and environmental benefits to be had from moving kick offs . 3pm kick offs are traditional only because Saturday was for many supporters a ½ day at work and 3pm let them finish, have a pint and get to the games. For the vast majority of clubs it would be worthwhile although I saw the ICT chairman dismissing the idea because away fans wouldn't travel to Inverness for an earlier kick off (although he didn’t say if he had approached any clubs to see if they were in favour or not) I emailed Thistle a couple of months ago asking if moving kick off times was under consideration or being discussed with other teams in the league. Still waiting for a reply.

Saw somewhere that the pitch was covered but covering it won't necessarily stop it freezing. The USH will still be needed.

Hoping to see Mbappe and Messi in the final so H please BB. Have to say Morocco are my team of the tournament so far. Great team sprit and belief and the coach has got his tactics spot on.

There's not much to be cheerful about around Firhill these days but this made me smile. One of my first Thistle heroes and a great choice for the next TJF pin.

My doomsday scenario is the land is sold and more student accommodation is built leaving Thistle homeless. There is precedent for that type of development in the surrounding area and there's no doubt there is a huge lack of student accommodation.

Maybe selling the land not the football club is the end game
