  1. the ayr fans were in the JH stand aswell, did they not have to queue up and buy their tickets at the portacabin like we did or just pay at the gate? I noticed on pie and bovril there were a few ayr and morton fans saying the same. they were also saying how bad the catering was in the away end, with no hot food left at half time, everything about this club is going down the shitter fast.
  2. first half we were shocking, ayr could have been 2 or 3 up by then. was saying to my dad at half time Jackie had 45 mins to save his job as the team didnt look up for it at all and we didnt look like scoring, elliott had the shot over the bar when he was on the ground but other than that their keeper wasnt threatened at all in the first half. 2nd half it was good to see the boys out a few mins early and getting warmed up. we could have scored a few more, doolan had a great chance for his hattrick and the keeper made a good save, i thought dools would have hit the pen to get his third and get a bit of confidence back in him. 4 th goal was a good move and roll across the box for cairney to pass in. mix up between fox and cole(i think) dunno if the ball got caught up in the wind but i think fox has to be more commanding in his box.he didnt cover himself on glory for ayr's second either, i thought he should have done better or at least have got a hand to it. ayr seemed to collapse after robbo going off, alot of our attacks coming down their right hand side. good to see erskine and sincy link up on that left hand side again. well done Jags, now to stick the boot into these kirkcaldy clowns.
  3. did we beat hamilton 3-0 at firhill a good few years back? i think roberts score 2 pens that day.i seem to remember their keeper being sent off after the second one when darren brady broke through(haha) and was pulled down.im sure theres a video on youtube of one of the pens.
  4. Cole was useless at left back against livvy and hes naturally left sided as far as im aware, please dont play him on the right, i can see Jackie going with the same team as he said he was happy with how everyone played. our options upfront are pure keich though. id put paton into right back with o donnell on the right of midfield, cairney and rowser in the middle with erskine on the left and we'll do them. heres hoping The Jags arent left feeling flat on Pancake day. defeat is unthinkable and unacceptable.a 5 goal margin or Jackie must go
  5. under siege 2 is on after it aswell. casey ryback is a legend
  6. back to basics .........................Fox..... paton… Balatoni... Archibald.. Sinclair .o'donnell.... rowson.....cairney.....erskine .............. Elliot......Doolan
  7. watching the darts thats up in aberdeen, they've got 'we love HMRC' and 'RIP Rangers' signs.magic!
  8. now on official stie, deal to the end of the season. it says he had offers from elsewhere but choose to come back. the offers elsewhere cant have been too appealing.
  9. yeah we are So Far Away from winning the league just now.
  10. .total nightmare today.absolutely sickened.i work in bathgate and was meant to be workin till 4 and managed to get away early. As I hadnt been to any games for a while I was well up for it and couldnt wait for the game, thinking the team might actually show up after a few weeks off.£17 to get in for 55 mins of fcuking torture. for the first few mins it looked like the players were up for it then we turned shite. mcnamara said in the preview( as he says in every preview) we've been working on things in training this week, what the **** have they been working on? still shite defensively, still shite at set pieces and still shite at defending set pieces, totally fcking clueless when the midfield get the ball it ends back with the defence. it would be nice if they actually looked like they knew each other. i left right after they scored their third, I was losing the head when it went 2-0 and didnt want to infuriate myself any more. why JM insists on playing so many folk out of position and moving our best players out of position to accomodate others baffles me, paton was pish at right back so he gets moved to midfield, shite there so gets moved to centre back, if hes not good enough to play right back then why the fcuk is he playing centre back? i understand we've got injuries but play players suited to their best position. this new boy welsh coming into centre mid and cairney stuck out on the right like a spare part and bannigan on the left, bannigan is fcking useless, nowhere near good enough, he should take a look at the young livvy boys, especially the wee number 10 i think in midfield, he was 5 foot nothing, looked about 14 and was running the show in midfield like a mini xavi while our midfield are chasing showdows, its embarrasing.cant believe when rowser went off we went with bannigan and welsh in the middle, as soon as i seen that i should have left, that was the nail in the coffin, then within 40 seconds of the 2nd half starting its game over.things were poor under mccall but mcnamara has taken it to a new low, its as bad as it was under the bunnet. time to go Jackie(although it will never happen, we'll wait until we're in the second division before we get our fingers out our arse) It was that bad I actually enjoyed my work more from 8 til 1.30 than i enjoyed the match from 3 til 4.15
  11. apparently David Beattie called her management to check on this actually happening but they Hung Up.
  12. had a quick look on bbc sportscotland transfer deadline day and someone has tweeted that we're signin ex rc and ict full back on 6 month deal. if its true then i wonder if sincy is away? surely he would have signed parker or a dtriker with that money?
  13. Vincent Lunny will have a semi watching that.
  14. aye stenny won 4-0 but it was Gow that got man of the match.
  15. the hearts 5-2 game was brilliant. the 3-3 draw with st mirren on the first day of the season a good few years back.i thought we were going to get a doing as they were just down from the spl (IIRC) and we were just promoted. also really enjoyed the cup game at firhill against dunfermline a few years back, firhill under the floodlights, the pitch was a disgrace, they went 1-0 up then we ended up winning 2-1 with a buchanan goal he sclaffed in at the back post at the city end.
  16. the one and only Jerry Stirling http://www.ptfcnet.co.uk/players/90/p13.html
  17. I thought big robertson had a decent game against QOTS then he is dropped straight away for an untried youngster so I would expect him to come in. sinclair has been rotten since about september, time to see what lindsay has to offer although I know it wont happen. i think it will be: fox o donnell cole robertson sinclair paton naismith rowser cairney erskine doolan I fear the worst on Saturday, I think we'll get gubbed 4 or 5-0.
  18. looking at the scottish leagues you've got rangers who are 2 points off top, cowdenbeath top of the 2nd and alloa top of the 3rd. all 3 of them with managers in the job for less than 1 year. mcnamara must go its just unacceptable we're not top!
  19. someone mentioned qots and raiths anti football, we cant really criticise them if we are playing with a 'holding midfielder' who is shite and being played out of his usual shitier position at home to 2 teams at the bottom of the league
  20. Torres? he started turning shit when he was at liverpool then got even worse going to chelsea.
  21. aye poor show, their attendances have been low this year aswell so dont know about a whack of cash but it would have come in handy. i was watching the draw online and was thinking qots were going to draw rangers, i would have preferred ibrox!
  22. with rowson out i think we needed him in the centre to run the show, not paton and wet flanel-gan.
  23. we played ok in the first half , o'donnell and erskine linked up well on the right. we came out for the second half and played liked the players had never met each other. sinclair is shite, he's hopeless at defending and never puts in a good ball, that wee carmichael is half the size of him and he was still holding him off the ball and skinned him a few times. there was a chance in the second half when the ball was running out, sinclair was more interested in trying to push the player off the ball and lost it. if anyone comes in for him in the window take the money and run.the twadfather was 10 times the player he is. as said o'donnell had a decent first half but second half he was keich. big shitebag for the size of him and cant header worth a fcuk. flannigan was abysmal as usual, its time he was chased, paton got man of the match and he was shite, too slow on the ball and too predictable. he has had a few decent games in the new holding role but i dont know why jackie changes the team about by putting a failed right back into centre mid, and putting our best player, cairney, on the left where he was totally ineffective. big robertson was the only plus point today, he had a solid game.the fact they were even worse makes it so frustrating. we were aswell as losing today than getting a replay cause we would have lost down there anyways. big 3 games for macnamara coming up, hamilton away, dundee home, livvy away.we'll be luck to take 3 points from the 3 games IMO.
  24. noticed earlier on bbc sportscotland he had broken his ankle in training, although they expected him to be out for only 6 weeks so maybe just a chip? awra best gary. would gie ma right baw for him to be with us this season uninjured
