Hmm...
The first half was absolutely rotten. One half-decent chance for each team - Stewart chipping the goalkeeper (and I think he should have done better) and when McLaughlin hit the post. What an awful half of football that was.
Second half livened up a bit and was a lot more open. We had a spell of around fifteen minutes in which we looked quite threatening. We played the ball down the wings and got some success from that, but we never had enough men in the box. We had most of our chances at this point, which wasn't a lot, but we lacked any real penetration and couldn't get in behind the QOTS defence. Final fifteen minutes Queens got into it a bit more and had a few decent opportunities. McKenna was unlucky with his long distance shot, but I think that was before our pressure. Brighton did well with his chance but Fox made a really good save to stop him. I can't believe that Elliot missed the chance at the end though. An absolute sitter.
A draw was a fair result, and what I had expected, but we really should have won it at the very end. Stewart was probably our best player upfront as he's the only player who actually did anything of note; and Balatoni and Archibald did well at the back.
