  1. I have sympathy for you but Aberdeen fans were told on both their own website http://www.afc.co.uk...2217950_3450028 and the Thistle website http://ptfc.co.uk/te...rdeen/admission that tickets for the main stand went on sale from 1.30pm.
  2. With all the talk of Campbell being at Stenny it might be worth mentioning the man who will commentate for Red TV on Saturday is a Jags fan. Strange how these things turn out.
  3. National rail might want to update their website as if you put in you want to go via Haymarket it makes no mention of the buses as it does when you go it from Glasgow to Perth direct. Cheers for the info.
  4. In the last year or so there's been a decent amount of kids around here at the bottom of Maryhill Road wearing Thistle tops. Probably a mixture of kids go free and the club doing well that has played a part in this but it's a massive improvement on when I moved in 5 years ago where you'd struggle to see Thistle colours outwith matchdays.
  5. Would it not be possible to go via Edinburgh without getting a rail replacement bus? I realise it would take longer but to be honest I'm not fussed about time if it means I can avoid the bus, much prefer the train.
  6. In competitive u20s he's scored 3 in 3 and also missed a penalty. Fairly sure he scored a few as a trialist in pre-season for the u20s too. I went to the 2 u20 home games and he's certainly impressed more than Mukendi although that's not saying much.
  7. It seems we'll be on the Wednesday. Dundee Utd are playing on the Sunday before it so it's unlikely they'll play 2 days later.
  8. Dundee isn't several Championship or League One sides as the post says. They are simply 1 championship side.
  9. Yes necessarily. If Dumbarton beat Dundee Utd then Dundee are seeded so we are definitely unseeded.
  10. I got them in March when they were released. They don't seem to have got any new sizes in since they were released, fairly sure they were limited to a certain number.
  11. Out of interest do you think Muirhead is a liability? 3 reds last season, arguably all far more deserve than any Murray picked up, should suggest so.
  12. In addition to the above there was Cowdenbeath in the Ramsdens Cup and a win over Morton on a Monday night in January a few years back, Cairney scored I think.
  13. This seems to be one of those things the club will get moaned at when in the grand scheme of things none of this really matters. I've got a season ticket and couldn't really care less that there's no priority sale. It's not as if they're going to sell out very quickly so there's little point in inconveniencing those who for whatever reason can't afford or choose not to buy a season ticket.
  14. Dundee did not have a decent start. They drew their first game then lost the next 3.
  15. I can't hear anything in the north stand from the speakers unless underneath the stand at the pie stalls, gave up on the half time draw last season and just check the scores on my phone now.
  16. Once it is fully operational there shouldn't be a need for a turnstile operator for every turnstile which should save the club money in the long term. When going to games in England with electronic tickets there tends to be 1 steward for a few turnstiles to ensure adults aren't using concession tickets and the like by checking the lights at the gates. Going by the letter that accompanied the season ticket it would seem the cards can be used for multiple seasons too decreasing costs of buying in season books each year and allowing office staff to do other things during the summer as renewals should be a simple case of reactivating the card.
  17. It's not students on work experience in the office, it is thistle fans who have given up their summers for the last few years now who happen to be at uni. The same students who volunteer at the club every home game. I really don't see why they keep being brought up, they do an excellent job when they could be on holiday, making money or doing some sort of work that gets them experience that is relevant to their degree.
  18. IIRC Dunfermline fans had to raise over £10k to pay the SFL for the rights before they could make a DVD when they won the league. That would have to be factored in if the SPFL want the same.
  19. 3-0 to Thistle according to the official twitter. Duggan with a double and Martin with the other. That's 3 in 2 games for Duggan up front now.
  20. I think the last article of his I read was the 1 posted on here last summer where he stated as fact Thistle were 1 of the clubs who voted The Rangers into division 1. Good to see I've not missed much.
  21. It is "bated breath" not "baited". Just in case you want to use the term in another complaint to the club.
  22. Most u20 games tend to be 7pm kick offs. I think the main exceptions are Ross County, Inverness and Aberdeen games are sometimes earlier.
  23. Next scheduled game for Firhill is Dundee Utd next Tuesday.
  24. As mentioned above it has changed. Home u16s still go free for league games, away u16s don't. Originally the club was charging £22 adults, £15 concessions and had a set number of u16 tickets free for the away end. They weren't allowed to charge away fans £22 and home fans £20 so changed it to £20, £14 and £5 for away fans.
  25. Away u16s are £5. We're charging £5, it's nothing to do with Hearts.
