In that case win, lose or draw we can still mathematically win the league. Ultimately I would prefer we won, irrespective of what happens further down the line.

I agree. Time for a change. This is not just down to bad luck on the injuries front. May be the case that the cup tie money may now be spent on paying the management off. Which squad wise leaves us with what we have. Strongest 11 played regularly probably make the play offs, only because its a very poor league.

Agree with this. Promising start but it was fairly obvious he just wasn't good enough at our current level. I'm still fairly hopeful we will get one or two in ( based on the rangers tie income ), but if our finances make that not possible, just have to hope we have a decent run re few injuries to key players. Luck will be a factor.

Maybe worth pointing out that the players will be motivated to play in that game, so should be a positive factor ( play well stay in team ) in the league games between now and then. We'll that's the theory.....

We have a decent record at Dens I think. Once again a helluva important game. Would take a draw but hoping for a win. Pity their game was off as it would have drained them. That said nowt to fear.

Looking at the fixtures next few weeks. We are away to Dundee, then home v Hamilton and cove. QP have to play Ayr, Dundee and ICT next 3 weeks, so could get very interesting indeed.

You are missing the point. Not every signing by a manager is a star signing. If only that was true we would be in the champions league!

I don't think anyone viewed him as a star signing. That said he was not what we needed.

Need some new material. Its as simple as that.

As others have said the acid test is sorting out our away form which quite simply is not good enough. We are in my opinion a very watchable team at home scoring plenty of goals. Away very much the polar opposite which is difficult to explain. My gut is telling me it's the mentality of the players that is open to question, which of course is also down to the manager to sort. If he can't it's obvious he only has limited goodwill left for the majority of fans who are still supporting him, albeit that can swing very quickly either way.

Incredibly disappointing result. Was a big chance to really shake up the top of the table. What next I don't know, but it's pretty obvious the managerial team won't be changed, especially for financial reasons. I still feel that this league will have plenty of twists and turns. We are capable of beating Dundee and Morton at home for sure.

Can't even praise the team after a fine performance. To be fair our defending at their goal was shocking.
