  1. Like most I'm pretty much bamboozled by this. The number one question I suppose is what exactly does Jackie Low want out of all of this. There is clearly some suggestion of potential asset stripping dangers, but is this even remotely likely?
  2. Exactly. As long as we don't make it totally obvious.....as others have said we will do what assists us as best as possible. That said still not in the play offs yet.
  3. The only advantage is we get a bit extra money for finishing 3rd. I'd say secure play off space as early as possible and then rest our key players.
  4. I've been making a monthly contribution. Not a big sum but being paying 4 months or so.
  5. I'm bamboozled by this. Do I cancel my contribution ? Is the TJF effectively dead in the water?
  6. All about the result. Yep we were poor. Defence and sneddon kept us in it. We were due a lucky one. Nb another clean sheet....
  7. And of course Livvy have finished top 6 twice and maybe even will make it again. Who would have predicted that? Right now I'm just hoping we make the play offs. We will have a chance but even me, the eternal optimist can't see us going all the way. But....never say never.
  8. Great result for us. Surely we can't blow it from here......
  9. To clarify I had no problem with the Arbroath game as a spectacle. The spectacle ( if we can call it that ) that I did not enjoy in the slightest was not unsurprisingly the Hamilton drubbing.
  10. As a thistle fan....the spectacle was not one I enjoyed. I suspect few thistle fans did. Nb no need to be so tetchy albeit I realise that is your natural standpoint. Remember it's only a game.
  11. So a hard fought 0 0 ( against the second top team ) is worse than a 4 0 pumping at home. Marginally better....wow. Using your logic perhaps a 6 3 defeat would have been preferrable.
  12. Thought mckenna had a decent game today. Not brilliant but steady. Hendry much the same.
  13. We were much better today, on a pitch that was very difficult to play on. Graham had some great chances and he made a big difference. Disappointed we didn't win but important we stopped the rot. 4 huge games to come.
  14. I agree that losing Rudden has been a part of our collapse of late ( along with Graham and Tiffoney being out at the same time ). Maybe we could have kept him, but in all likelihood ( unless you know different ) we would have an unhappy player on the payroll. Additionally if he missed a few chances let's be honest some fans would have turned against him. Not me. But some. I'd also agree that who we brought in in the window are simply not good enough, especially on the scoring goals bit. Could we have signed Laferrty and broke the bank. Maybe. We're there any potential signings we could have made? I've no idea. Sometimes fate conspires against you and maybe just maybe that's all it is. Frustrating I know, but we still may make the play offs. Never a dull moment.
  15. Yep. Can we get Gordon back now? I'm assuming at best if we make play offs. That if is getting bigger.
  16. In my opinion yes. But I'm now struggling to remember as it's ages since he played there.
  17. So if thinks go well it's luck. When it goes badly it's mccall s fault. We get the picture.
  18. Well said Admin. Thankfully I missed those posts whatever they were.
  19. So in 6 weeks we have won about 25 games and had approximately 20 shut outs? I think your maths are out. Yes we have been God awful last month, but not quite as bad as you are suggesting.
  20. What I can't understand is how our fantastic defense has went from robust to rotten in a few short weeks. Can anyone explain that ?
  21. Silly question. Can we get them back...? Even for the play offs ( gulp ) which is now looking a hard prospect based on this !
  22. 100 per cent. One long ball out and we leave our slowest player with their quickest.
  23. They look as if they have chucked it.
