This bunch of lads play very well together,what concerns me a little is the lack of height anywhere in the team,last night was a typical example of what happens as a bigger/stronger/sleekit team bossed the game for the first 45mins,they seemed to run out of steam and some tactical changes altered the complexion of the game.Not having a commanding Centre - Half in the Linsay/Henry mould is a big disadvantage and without Kevin up front there isn't a lot to gain form any high ball,hence the need to keep it on the Deck.

The big man only tracks back in his own channel,he doesn't fill in spaces,it was exactly the same in the Hamilton game,i like him but he doesn't cover back,if you don't see that then you need to join AA and co on the sidelines.

.Yes,once again an opposition manager makes changes which we make no effort to counteract,we bring Big Amoo and don't play the ball in front of him,we all know he doesn't cover back well so we hand the opposition an advantage.

Thought David Wilson was the best player on the park,knocks a lovely long ball.Have to agree that the Referee was shocking,could not believe the "No Penalty"descision,he then started flashing yellow cards all over.Difficult to tell how Adam Barton will turn out,played centre mid - field,good in the air,but didn't make an outstanding contribution,heres hoping.The Team knock the ball around well,made things difficult by losing a very soft first goal,something you don't want to do against any St Johnstone side,but they stuck at it and were very unlucky to get nothing out of the game.

They ran out of hot food in the JHS also,they seemed to be surprised by the attendance.

Trouble with Ryan is that he fails to Command his Goal Area,his positional sense is sadly lacking,his clearances aren't great,he invites opposition players on to him with his kick outs.He had all these deficiencies when he played with The Development Squad where he lost a couple of really silly goals with him loitering on the ball.He is good close in shot stopper but the more time he has to think about things the worse he is,honestly I think PaulGallacher would have been better these last few games.He has been given the chance to shine and he has been shown not to be up to the task which is unfortuneate for him and us.I thought that young Marc Webster is/was the better option but I believe he is off to pastures green.

Trouble with young David is that he gives the ball away far too often when playing in the development league,cannot afford to do it in this standard I'm afraid.
