  1. Not a chance in hell it'll be £100K £50K absolute max
  2. My guess for transfers from those in charge. Minimal investment, couple of loans maybe (3 in max). Bolster squad to be seen to support Doolan. Replacements will end up not being good enough and it'll be the same old same old on the pitch. Season will peter out with a 5th place finish and it'll be bye bye Kris in the summer. Half the squad will leave and we reset with Brian Graham in charge for more of the same guff in season 25/26
  3. Read the full thing. I'll notice zero difference when I go on a Saturday and we'll still be inconsistent and average in the pitch. Ultimately I have no real interest in the day to day operations as in reality your average fan does not see a difference. Is the water in the Jackie Husband toilets still cold. Yes Is the food overpriced. Yes Are there hundreds of unusable seats. Yes Are we rotten on the field more often than not. Yes Stand by my January mantra for each year. Roll on August (and maybe it'll be better next season.)
  4. Get set for 2 utterly uninspiring signings this winter that will get minimal game time, and will contribute nothing to our 5th place finish. Said this a year ago maybe. Roll on August. Thankfully I don't have the misfortune of having a season ticket for the remaining games. 🥳
  5. Monumental amount of blah blah blah. Nice sentiment but opened and skimmed every section without properly reading. Lots of words and nothing of substance. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  8. Any property experts on here? What kind of cash would a site like Firhill rake in for development? Once we're all out of Tranches, the money dries up and we go bust, surely the land will be worth a tidy sum?
  9. If you're reading page 17 of this first, don't bother with the previous 16. Same old rehashed tripe from other threads. No new info, just the same folks going back and forward ranting and raving about something that we cannot control. Not a Foundation member and no longer a season ticket holder so not sure I should be allowed to post on this forum.

  12. I'm pretty certain there will be two worse teams than us this season so that's a positive, but you've got to wonder how long those in charge will wait before he gets the chop.
  13. McBeth distribution from Centre Back is generally awful from what I've witnessed so far this season. Somebody do me a favour and keep a count of his misplaced passes today. 👍
  14. I second all of this. Was gonna take my boy but £40 for the two of us. Hamilton can get tae fudge. Wonder if anyone will be higher this season.
  15. Simple solution to injury time issue, take the time keeping out of the referees hands. Independent time keeper who stops and starts a clock that's visible to everyone in the ground.
  16. For me the key to all of these performances is what we do when in possession of the ball. In the majority of the games we have the biggest amount of possession. I've not sat with a pen and pad to take notes, but how we concede possession is key. My 13yr old son said 'I wonder what our possession stats would be if we stopped punting the ball up field, 80% maybe?' I know possession stats mean nothing, but McBeth and Muirhead's default panic response is to launch it. In McBeths case, often to a space that is different to where his brain wants him to hit the pass. Doolan has to see this and drill it in to him to keep it simple. Is this kind of BS play not analysed? Not rocket science if my 13yr old is clocking it!
  17. I'm in that boat. First home game of the season. Last of 2024. Awful turgid performance. Might come back in the new year to see Lawless. Been a ST holder for the last few years but glad I've not blindly renewed this year.
  18. I assume with all of this Finance chat that the board, TJF etc have started working on a budget that will account for us being in League 1 next season? Maybe someone could ask that at the meeting?
  19. 100% agree with this. Also been saying it for ages. Who's at fault here. Does he just do the bare minimum to tick all the boxes preseason and at training? Are the club not pushing him hard enough? Is there an underlying problem we don't get to know about? Loads of players out there still bustin a gut 85 minutes in. Fitzpatrick on the other hand looks spent after a couple of back to back runs and always looks knackered after 65/70 mins. Even more so when we're losing. Time to bench him.
  20. Absolute belter of a decision not to buy a season ticket this season! 🥳
  21. Peterborough triggered his Chesterfield release clause of around £250K according to reports at the time. 'Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony said on his ‘Hard Truth’ podcast: “Our position with Kabongo is clear. We are asking for less money than we paid for him and offers from two clubs have been accepted. The Scottish club and Swindon haven’t offered enough.' Reading between the lines I'd guess if we've offered anything it'll be way less than £100K. Be amazed if we matched the required amount. Even then, if the guy has a brain, he must realise a move to Thistle is just gonna stall his career even more when Graham is undroppable for Doolan. Interesting to see when the first game of note will be that a fully fit Graham doesn't start.
  22. I imagine this will be more accurate. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/ayrshire/ayr-uniteds-anton-dowds-loving-31696714 Also worth noting he's not scored in his last 8 games. Seems his normal ability to find the back of the net has returned.
  23. I'd love Dom Thomas but am I missing something here? His initial contract ran to end of this season but I found this. Surely him signing for anyone is a non starter? https://queensparkfc.co.uk/dom-thomas-agrees-extended-contract-until-june-25/
  24. Our defensive unit is brutal. Watching through my fingers as usual.
