As of last Thursday I think he said he'd had a scan but was waiting on the results. He lives down Annan way apparently and Caldwell gave him a lift.

I see from Cammy Bells column in the Sun on Saturday that Caldwell still lives in Manchester. That's a shocker of a commute. Caldwell must leave at 5 in the morning and get back in at 8 at night.

Bit pessimistic there thisal. Surely we should be aiming to win League 1 next season and nothing less, not just make the play offs.

When we lose.

Well as it stands my predicted double drop seems well and truly a possibility. On that note it'll be nice to get a wee visit to Stranraer and Brechin next year as I seem to have missed these 2 on our previous drops down the leagues. Hopefully won't happen and I am happy to give GC time to sort it. If though, it means aiming for the league 1 title next season, then so be it. He'll do well to get enough players in and out in January to save us from the drop. Bad enough getting quality in in the summer, never mind the winter window. Can only hope he has a few contacts in England that can chuck us a few Lyle Taylor like gems rather than shockers like Jason Banton. (The absolute pinnacle of Archies tenure for me)

I'm sure the last time I was at East Fife away I witnessed Hrrein 'turbo' Hringsson (no sure of spelling or if it was even East Fife) and we had Mark Cairns in goal. Auld super perm turbo could've given any number of Archies dud strikers a run for their money. Sure if he was around today Archie would be snapping him up on a 3 year deal then freeing him next May.

Might come out of self imposed exile if we get a good away trip.

I'd take Jukka Santala, John Baird and Mark McWalter right now before whatever 3 charlatan footballers Archie is gonna foist on us in the coming weeks. To a man they'll be free transferred come May. I've gone 2 nil Falkirk and 3-1 Falkirk. Betting on our opposition for the rest of the season unless something dramatic happens squad wise or management wise.

The main positive to take from this fixture is that bookies haven't cottoned on to how terrible we are and still have us odds on. Lump all your spare cash on Falkirk at 13/5. Falkirk 2 nil at 18/1 also looks great value. (Just saying for the gamblers out there)

Wee man plays football and tennis. Loves sport. Got right into world cup. Go away on surprise holidays and trips. Been to see Leicester, Newcastle, Blackburn, Everton, Tottenham in last 2 seasons. All great in my house. Just a shame the team I was brought up supporting are total and utter gash and are run by an incompetent management team and a delusional board. Would love to take my kid to Firhill but not gonna waste my time and money when there are so many other places we can go and things we can do.
