  1. Voted top 6 for long-term health of club. With the current state of Scottish football, clubs going down now are falling off the life raft, risking long-term stagnation and irreversible decay.
  2. Disgraceful attempted deflection again; trying to deflect from the fact that his negative, dirty, cheat-and-wrestle-your-way-to-an-away-point tactics eventually failed to increasing attacking pressure and positive play.
  3. The club did something like that (on a much smaller scale, obviously) with the open training and signing session at the start of the season. It was great and much appreciated by me and my 3 kids, though more of a bonus for existing fans rather than recruitment of new ones. (First time at Firhill for the youngest, might have got another new young fan). Matchday reductions/promotions targeted at distinct groups, like the student day, or schools, youth groups, etc. seem more likely to yield new fans; early in the season a good idea.
  4. I miss the banana splits too. The la di da one is poor, aye, but my kids like it.
  5. Missed Saturday so didn't see them, but I'm all for it; Manpreet and his pal are sounding out Facebook opinion on taking a collection for banners, etc. I for one will be chipping in.
  6. Fifthed, we owe them a couple of great big 'Thank You's.
  7. Just seen the STV piece. I think it's fine, the more media profile the better, and Banzo and Maxi came across very well and gave a good image, didn't seem a negative spin in any way. Think the club deserve a lot of credit for everything they've tried to do to increase attendances in response to the puzzling drop.
  8. Fantastic statto-ing, thanks for all the hard work.
  9. We are; smallest budget and wage bill, as shown recently in the always excellent Swiss Ramble.
  10. Yoda-jag and yellow&redneck are spot on; brilliant publicity coup for/by the club, fantastic.
  11. Excellent football finance analysis site the Swiss Ramble has audited Celtic and the financial gulf between them and e.g. EPL. Some graphs with figures for all SPFL Prem clubs show clearly that Thistle have the smallest income and pay the lowest wages in the division. http://swissramble.b...gone-green.html
  12. Got the same statement in the post as a letter today. Much better communication all round on this.
  13. Yep, not ideal but I'm OK with it. Good detailed explanation of the issue and implications.
  14. You're right, it has been. I've bought them all (missed one, I think) since the (re)-appearance and it's been getting steadily better.
  15. Kids's section is now JH 2+3, rows C-M. Just moved me and 2 kids there from JH5, so those 3 seats and other movers will show up available after the 15th.
