If anyone thinks the threat to throw Hearts, one of largest-supported clubs in Scotland and one half of the second-largest derby in the country, out of the system is anything other than hot air, they're soft in the head. Thistle on the other hand, I'm sure they couldn't give a toss about, so it's lucky we're riding on the Jambo's coat-tails and cash.

I'm sure that there are people like myself who read threads but don't feel compelled to reply to absolutely every post like certain blithering idiots do; so whilst this thread (like so many) has been dominated by a few mouthy individuals who must heartily enjoy the sound of their own voices, there is a usually silent contingent who read what WJ has written and finds his contribution illuminating.

So what's the alternative? What happens if the clubs DON'T vote for October?

What the shirt doesn't do enough of, is highlight the sponsor's logo to the detriment of everything else. But with a few small tweaks it can! And balance out the red and yellow a little better, too.

For god's sake, there's a whole thread on this forum about which clubs we should be "boycotting" from now on ... I suppose we ourselves should expect that every other set of fans will be boycotting Firhill. I'm sure there will be replies along the lines of "We aren't going to miss the fifty fans Clyde will bring next season" but that's not really the point, is it? Firhill's a pretty soulless place already, having no atmosphere at all will only keep more fans away, and we'll sure as hell miss away crowds if (and that's a big if) we ever get close to the top of the pyramid again.

Is that the one thing you take from his post? Nothing to counterargue the points he makes?
