Possibly the worst first half performance I have seen from a Thistle side in years, despite that we should have been two up before they scored .A lot better in second half when Tiff and Graham came on right up to the point where Graham saw the red mist,after that we regressed to standard dire . Too many key players seem incapable of playing a full game….Graham,Tiff,McMillan,Lawless ,Fitzpatrick…..surely all can’t be carrying injuries ? .No pass marks today except perhaps Turner and Sneddon…who wanted to get up park for free kick toward the end but was gestured back by McCall . I’ve exiled myself from Ibrox for over 40 years but feel another doing next Sunday could destroy irreparably any fragile spirit we currently have and propel us to bottom half dogfighting close season .

January window shut,however, would I be correct in saying loanees available until end of Feb ? .

Maybees,however,perhaps our claim to Goal of the Season .

Hopefully Graham,Tiff,Lawless and Dowds back for this one plus a Newby ?

Ironic that Accies ,honking as they are ,managed to bring in a loanee who managed to score and bag the tree points on his debut ….surely in the name of the wee man we’ve got someone coming in early next week ?

Took his goal well but could not get behind the defence in the same way Tiff or Lawless seem to do ,or indeed like himself a couple of games ago .

Accies seem to have slightly turned the corner going by recent two results whilst we ,although winning last two ,have looked less than convincing . Need Graham and Doc back….Lawless would be nice also as we looked poor on both wings last week .

Strange game.We were dire but never really felt The Pars would nick it despite having a majority of chances.Great last 10 mins in shoot out and well done Jamie Sneddon and the Lambie …..who never stopped belting it out all game .

Potential big banana skin tomorrow,need to keep it tight at the back and fluid on the flanks….midfield a big worry without Doc .

Hope some of the Doolan magic rubs off on the youngsters !

Were you at the game ?.Sure ,we were not great with key players either missing or getting over long term injuries,however,we had enough guile and fortitude to claim a hard fought victory against a team of essentially time wasting hammer throwers looking for a draw .Would be interested to see what “reports” you are referring to saying we were “humped” ?.

Beginning to think from recent posts we got humped yesterday ,had to check score again to make sure .

Crowd were great today and were undoubtedly the 12th man getting a flatish ,but never say die ,Jags over the line . Thought Imrie’s touchline antics were embarrassing as his breeks.
