  1. I absolutely loved being in the old shed when we played against the old filth. Sure, we were outnumbered 5 to 1, but we always made ourselves heard and showed those bottom feeders that we were there, and that whatever they threw at us we could take it and give at least as much back. I loved singing "Baxter's a Hippy", "F*ck yer Harry..." "Who put the ball in the R*angers net..." etc etc. In fact, come Saturday night, when Thistle Old and New come together, I might just be tempted to break out............ in a cold sweat!
  2. That's right. Everybody who deserves it will eventually make it. Just a shame that it might be posthumous for some folk when it doesn't need to be.
  3. Might I respectfully suggest that any Jags fan who can attend this (geographically and financially) but who chooses not to attend should take a long look at himself/herself in the mirror and ask: WHAT THE F*CK YOU PLAYING AT ???? GET YER ARSE ALONG TO HAMPDEN FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME (LAST IN OUR LIFETIMES) EXPERIENCE!
  4. Given that we beat Falkirk 2-0 in the semi, I predict the same score on Saturday. The DJ should also play all the music from around the time of the semi and final, and of course the catering prices should also be at 1971 levels! Jimmy Reid should also be invited to give a half-time address. Anybody foresee any problems?
  5. So, basically it's excellent news. He and the h*ns can stew in their own putrid juices.
  6. That's outrageous! Nobody would want to sh*g Cilla Black.
  7. And there goes any faint chance there was of me ever buying a Mitsubishi motor.
  8. Pas-de-deux --- Pas-de-deux
  9. The Herald is rabidly anti-SNP to the point of being embarrassing. And they're planning to charge a subscription to read their perspective in depth. Err, no thank you.
  10. And where's the party afterwards?
  11. --Yes, believe that if you will, just like when you were told (and probably agreed to) that devolution "would kill the SNP stone dead". In the words of Bob Dylan: Your old road is Rapidly agin' Please get out of the new one If you can't lend your hand For the times they are a-changin'. Err, messed up the organization of this post big style; apologies.
  12. It's a thumbs up from me. Katie would always get a thumbs up from me.
  13. Konichi wa - Good afternoon.
  14. What would that be, then. And how many examples can you think of in the British Isles, for example?
  15. I just learned today about the manner in which Falkirk won last week. They scored in about the 97th minute. They got a penalty and missed, the keeper saving and putting it out for a corner. Instead of holding his head in his hands with a look of horror like all of the big stars on tv do, the guy who missed the penalty ran over and immediately took the corner, from which the Bairns scored. Now that's what you call a good attitude!
  16. Those are all reasonable points. But I'd reckon that a wheelchair-only section within the enclosure would be feasible alongside a number of standing supporters.
  17. Great to learn that you've taken the decision to come over to the dark side!
  18. No chip. You didn't answer my questions, but feel free not to bother.
  19. I'll sing that when I'm sixty-four.
