  1. 2-0 0-2 1-1 2-0 2-0 1-2 2-0 0-1 Bonus 1 - France v Germany Bonus 2 - 3 Bonus 3 - 10 Thanks, BB
  2. I had a look at their site last night. Kelty TV, where they would have the stream, reverts to the Kelty v Brechin play off game, so unfortunately I don't think it is being streamed.
  3. I CAN do two things at once! Come on Scotland, and my predictions are : 2-1 2-0 1-0 0-2 0-3 0-0 2-0 0-1 3-0 1-0 0-1 2-0 Cheers BB !!
  4. Evening BB. On holiday this week, so getting my predictions in early 1-1 1-0 0-1 0-2 1-0 2-0 1-0 2-1 1-1 2-0 0-2 0-0 My thanks.
  5. The "Independent " commented on the Scott Tiffony signing Twitter video, suggesting a"fan" said "We signed Scott Tiffoney - ya beauty." Ian Mc Call - eat your heart out!
  6. Do ye no mean Minerva McGonagall ?
  7. Saw from the SPFL and local news websites that Joe Cardle has signed for Kelty Hearts. Good move for him! Kelty have also signed Barjonas and Jordon Foster. Statement of intent from them.
  8. There was a singer called Beyonce She sang rather loudly all day On stage in a trice She sang rather nice But said I've a pain in my colon, (I) say!!
  9. From Mull to the Pentland Skerries From Skye to Colonsay From Staffa to Iona And the Sands of Castlebay...... Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio..... Brechin off to the Highland League
  10. Did the 105 trolleybus (Queens Cross to Clarkson) not go from Northpark St out onto Maryhill Road? Don't know, but don't believe that any trolleybus went up Firhill Road. Whoops! I'm wrong. Just checked. The return journey from Clarkson DID come up Firhill Road!!
  11. The Celtic goalkeeper looks like Frank Haffey to me. That would pin down the game from 1957 to 1964!! AFK is right - spill the beans!!
  12. Saw in the Press & Journal that the Highland Football League Secretary Rod Houston said "Fixtures will be announced in due course once we know what Brechin City are doing. Everyone was content to leave them right now to lick their wounds because it will still be sore. The season starts on 24 July." Looks like they will have a welcome in the hillside, and a fun time in the HFL. Ha Ha!!
  13. My understanding is that most of Brechin's players live in the Central belt, and being part time, will find it difficult to get time off work college etc to travel to Highland clubs midweek. Being somewhat cynical, I don't suppose the cash from the Erse Cheeks (for playing in the Lowland League) will go amiss either.
  14. Brechin City will not be in the Lowland League next season - they will join the Highland League, thanks to their geographic location. They would have joined the Lowland League last year thanks to SPFL bullying. But this year, the SPFL are a spent force. Rules are rules, and its off to Brora and all points south for them . GSUS got in just before me !!
  15. Ian McCall has just been named SPFL League 1 manager of the season. Well done to Ian. Shame there isn't a club director of the year award. For me, that would go to Gary Deans of Falkirk. When the lower leagues got shut down in January, instead of just moaning about it, he did something. He got the clubs to collectively say they would test, and wanted to play. This is what came about. My director of the year
  16. Afternoon BB. First fixtures as follows:- 1-1 1-0 2-0 3-0 2-0 1-0 3-1 2-2 2-0 1-0 1-2 2-1 As always, many thanks for organising and running this, and good luck to all participants (particularly those favouring Scotland!!).
  17. I couldn't find one footballer called A Lister, never mind five of them. There was an Ian Lister used to play for Aberdeen, Raith Rovers etc in the 1960s and early 70s, but thats it!!
  18. No wish to be controversial, but is the Crimea still in Ukraine? I thought Russia had taken the place over, and stopped the export of clothing items to Renfrew
  19. East Kent is connected to France by a big tunnel. Canterbury was a refuge for Huguenot tradesmen. The Peasants revolt started here - Wat Tyler and that stuff. But no.... folks are typical Little Englanders !
  20. It's got to be France for me, BB. This plus transfers / new contracts will keep us busy over the summer . No court case or tribunal this summer, I trust!!
  21. I was looking for info on Jim Logan, who played for the Jags circa 1971, and came across this. An online copy (50 pages, priced 25p) of a 1971 souvenir handbook. Some interesting articles!
  22. Belated congratulations AJ, a worthy champion! Fly your flag high!! Many thanks BB, for keeping our spirits up with fans locked out of games (except George Galloway), and during the dark period when Thistle weren't doing so well. Excellent stuff. Hibs for me please!! Again, thanks
  23. As per The Thistle Archive, Archie got 10 goals for Thistle, including one in a testimonial.
  24. Aye - once seen, never forgotten
