  1. Did I hear right. Levein left with £700,000 in his pouchy. How much of a salary was he on for dear God to merit such a golden handshake. Bugger that, I am applying. I dont think I could do much worse.
  2. Not quite in agreement that the finals destination can not be changed. There is after all nearly 5 months to said final. If enough supporters make enough noise especially letting the sponsors know. Although the SFL may wish an SFL destination historically it has been played in SPL grounds on numerous occassion. 8 times at McDermid, 4 times and Fir Park etc. A great final needs two sets of supporters and I scratch my head to think how this venue does anything for the supporters of QOS. Travel from Dumfries on a Sunday, a later kickoff, work the next day. I don,t think QOS will bring anymore that 3-4000 If it can,t be Rugby Park then I would argue for Somerset. I know it is a bit of a dump and probably just short on capacity (10,243). But when full it will have a crackin atmosphere. Supporters of both sets of teams will have an easier journey and a great day out with pubs, cafes, restaurants a plenty etc. The final should be an occassion and a day out for all supporters whether young ,old, bevy merchants, families etc and Livingston just doesn,t seem to tick any of these boxes
  3. Damn I will be jetting out. Flight to Dubai on Saturday night at 20:45 so it will be a dash from Firhill after the Cove game. Gutted I am missing the Pars game. Mona Theestle
  4. Skype username what else PARTICK1971
  5. In a bar in Spain with WI-FI. Have SKYPE but not great connection
  6. Muscat Jag Why was game held up for 3mins. Letting in the big away support?
  7. Yep enjoying the new format for "auto updates". Any news on the game starting 3mins late..massive jags support?
  8. I think that this bothers people more in the JH so I wonder what percentage of people who go to the North Stand have cast a vote.
  9. I sponsored Christie Elliots full home kit this year and when I commented on this site about not being too happy I also recieved the response about why I didn,t contact the club I duly did this and the reply was less than forth coming with its a "supplier problem" being the only response. Time for an official statement on the club web site is due with an apology at the least. What they don,t realise is that I will likely be the same as H WRAGG and just suck it up as I know that it is really only me giving a donation to the club. Cmon who would pay £475 for the kit in Greaves. But if this lack of clarity continues then sponsoring for a third year is certainly off the cards for me.
  10. Used to use these when I worked in Russia 10 years ago. Always wondered when they would make there way here. Was a chemical reaction in a bag set off by a wee metal thing that you clicked inside the bag. It was charged by sticking the bag in boiling water but later was cool to the touch until you started the reaction again. Was only a small bag that you used for warming your hands at the time
  11. After Sevco result on Saturday the propect of them both being promoted or not has obviously sunk in with the prospect that they may have to play in Glasgow on the same day as Celtic
  12. Just think about the scenario that QP and The Rangers don,t get up this year!
  13. Probably cause a uproar here but are we becoming Celtics Bitch. Maybe should have started this as a thread? Players on loan, pre-season game two years in a row, NETGEN U19s. I know Jackie has lots of contacts and he is using these to our advantage, and I also know we have had a few on-loan youngsters from Ibrox, but would hate us to loose that "alternative" tag. Its only a matter of time before the other lot from Govan start mentioning this as well if I am.

  15. Right thats enough you lot. I,m the TOPCAT here.. Meeeoooowww!
  16. Sally, Shearer and Henri would never let anyone else take a penalty, That was their job and their legacy! When I said Elliot should be grabbing the ball I meant it mentally. If he is to succeed as a striker he must become ruthless and just a bit selfish.
  17. Well there are glass half empty folk and glass half full
  18. Yes I am saying that as a striker Elliot should be wanting to score desperately and should want to put himself forward for the penalty. Aaron Muirhead may have converted well but when all things are said and done his job is as a defender. Welsh is the regular penalty taker but is it 100% confirmed that Muirhead was given this task by Jackie. If it was a on the field decision then I would want my striker to say I,ll take it. Sticking that penalty away would have boosted Elliot confidence which may ebb as the weeks go by without a goal.
  19. It might only be "play for your team" but hopefully it will come true for the real jags! Don,t know who you are but well done to those who scored a few goals to win the qualifying league.
  20. In some respects a striker should be greedy and selfish at times. The old poachers mentality. Maybe Elliot is not lacking in confidence but he certainly needs a few goals to push on. Thats all I,m saying In the next few weeks if he hasn,t scored then maybe the positive vibes he is receiving from this forum at the moment will turn to criticism. Strikers need goals!
  21. Elliot should have grabbed the ball for the penalty. He needs a goal for confidence and that was an opportunity.
