scotty
Aberdeen now 2-1 up at Kilmaurnock. Upwards and onwards Jags. Strange times when we're all earnestly concerned on the result of an Aberdeen Kilmarnock game!

The Jukebox Rebel
I said the same last season, but if we signed Lyle, for the first time in about 20 years, I would buy a season ticket for me and my son. If he attracted even another 100 jags fans to the ground every fortnight, his wages would be covered. The board do need to show a bit of forward thinking when a player like this is available. It's clear that he enjoys playing for us and hopefully his unfinished business with English football is out his system. Good to hear. I hope David Beattie comes on here for a weekly read. The Sunnylaw Jag
Strange times when we're all earnestly concerned on the result of an Aberdeen Kilmarnock game! Yeah and it's back to that detestable thinking where you're looking for Celtic to pump Kilmarnock and bump up our goal difference advantage over them! Agree with this and similar posts (as long as the financial stretch is not too disproportionate). Lyle is a big personality and he gets Thistle noticed
Blackpool Jags
LT is arguably worth a place or two higher in the league standings than we would be without him. That alone would finance the deal, at least the bigger part of it I would think.
