BowenBoys
The lucky winner receives an email from Ian maxwell? For £60 a year what else did you expect? A text commentary that used to be free? Forest Green Rovers have managed to produce a membership card that you can use as a ticket through the turnstile. For £20, including two free games. Over a year into TAG and Thistle still haven't managed to organise a pretty useless membership card. Quite pathetic, don't you think? Norgethistle
No, Norge, it's not random. There's a monthly prize draw! For an email, I'm TAG+ and I never seem to get these emails, or text alerts

For £120 a year, I expect to at least be on the email distribution list
buchanio
They appear to be picking up the email and mobile number from the sign up account for tickets etc and using the ones that have ticked to receive info from club. I did wonder how my kids were receiving stuff and I never until I checked.
BowenBoys
To be fair to the club, there is no indication from madcapmilkdrinker that it was a TAG email. It might have been a private email.

BowenBoys
Unless you're Jordan Mcmillan, what use do you have, for a membership card? My cover is blown! I asked the club that question last year and received this reply on 14 Sept 2014 Your TAG card will be issued to you by post in 4 - 6 weeks' time approximately. TAG is a new product and whilst it is predominantly an online product, there are plans to develop additional promotions and tied in partnership programmes, which may require you to show your card to take up the benefit of the promotion. So I might need a membership card. Of course, when the club said '4 - 6 weeks' they meant 'over 8 months'.

I receive the ticketing info, but hee-haw from TAG, even the ticketing info is hap hazard, sometimes I get it and my dad, sometimes only one of us… thank fcuk we talk or we'd miss out on ticketing info
madcapmilkdrinker
To be fair to the club, there is no indication from madcapmilkdrinker that it was a TAG email. It might have been a private email. That's what it was. I asked him on Twitter how I could best piss money up a wall/ support my club as a Nomad and he mentioned this in an email to me. flashman
Okay, I have bought a season ticket - why didn't I just get my 'TAG discount code' requested at log-in when they posted the card out. Alternatively they could have emailed this to me. I have just emailed the office about this, but as mentioned before, you shouldn't really have to. Had a season ticket our first season in SPFLPFLPLFL but didn't renew last year. Bought a season ticket last week and unable to use it. The office replied to me within 24 hours when I made an enquiry about buying a season ticket, a lot longer now that I've bought one and asked about a benefit of what I have just purchased. Funny that...
