Weebaw1
I had the misfortune to attend the Dons game at the end of the season. We were completely overrun. We cannot play Erskine, lawless and Spittal. They offer no defensive cover. Nor can we play both of our holding mids- far too slow. Banzo and Edwards are vital for this game to provide some energy. Erskine has been on fire so wee Stevie should be benched. Is there any news on Booth? If it's serious, could we recall Penrice who deserves a good run at LB? Knightswood Jag
Presumably that's because he is one of those players that, dressed in RED and YELLOW on a GREEN pitch, manage to "hide". Fortunately, others make sure that they don't hide, though goodness knows where they would even if they wanted to! Maybe this is how Celtic went unbeaten last season, nobody could see their players against the pitch!
eljaggo
Guardian reporting (last week) that the Celtic manager's salary is 10 time some SPL clubs' wage bill, and that Celtic were wringing their hands because their playing budget is only £20m compared to Bayern's £120m. Article points to yet greater disparity between Scottish clubs if Celtic reach the group stages (which they surely will) despite the small payements to SPL clubs by UEFA linked to Celtic's success. Fearchar
Maybe this is how Celtic went unbeaten last season, nobody could see their players against the pitch! Just as well they don't have a camouflage change strip, or they'd be unbeatable on grass anywhere. I wonder why our pink and black camouflage didn't really work out.... sandy
Too many people writing us off on here. The team is absorbing some new players, some other established players are coming back after injuries. We will gel in time. Soon I believe. Expecting nothing against Aberdeen? Get in the sea. We may have lost today, but that the score was closer than some naysayers would have predicted. C'mon the Jags.
