Auld Jag Posted March 11, 2018 Report Share Posted March 11, 2018 The game yesterday will not live long in the memory but what we did see was a Thistle team playing in a particular style and imo we did it well. I know a lot of fans wont like it but I feel we will have to play this way probably in our next 2 games depending on results maybe even next 3 games.Looking at the teams round about us they don't have a easy run in before the split , So if we play well and results go our way we could be going into the post split games in 10th position and our destiny in our own hands.I know it easier said than done but if we want to stay in this league we have to do something we haven't done this season and that is put a good run of positive results together. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Auld Jag Posted March 17, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2018 After today it looks like our game at Ross County in April is now a must win game for us if we want to stay in this league. Don't see either us or Ross County getting anything from our next game ,so we should still be 3 points ahead of County.If we lose at County I think we are down. Although this has been a very poor season for us,we are still in with a chance of staying up. But if we lose at Ross County I think we will finish bottom of the league. Agree a draw would be a good result.I just feel if we want to stay in this league if we can beat County,we will increase our lead on them and probably be on the same points as Dundee.Also with some luck it might start a run of positive results for us.
