Jaggernaut
What I'd like to know (just for fun) is WHO it was who thought that the picture showed Aussies instead of Germans. Was it some wee 16-year-old lassie in an office somewhere? Some half-doped-up guy in his twenties who hates his job? Or somebody with a special brand of humour...? I've sympathy for their programme editor. Puts our 'Airdire United' mistake of last season in a better light.

Tom Hosie
Mistake... yes... mistake... It was a mistake I promise. The fact that they were in fact Dire that afternoon was just unfortunate.
dl1971
Yesterday Airdrie had a programme for Remembrance day. I know nothing unusual in this, however the front of the programme had a picture of german soldiers on a train with their wives/girlfriends saying goodbye. Seems that someone made a mistake and selected the wrong picture for the front of the programme Nice one kenny. Good to see you are keeping in touch :-)

Long may the humiliation continue! perhaps the Airdrie red v-necked scumbags are simply ascribing to the old philosophy that 'no publicity is bad publicity'
