H Wragg
gordon strachan for the job? Terry Butcher's name was being talked about on Sportsound. Now, he's had a chequered managerial career to say the least but surely, when the going's good for him, he wouldn't blow it all by going to Aberdeen, would he? kni
gordon strachan for the job? I doubt that Strachan would want it. Would Jimmy Calderwood want his old job back? The report says that the early favourite is Terry Butcher. There will be plenty of applicants. Steve Clarke would be an interesting choice. Big Col
I think that Ian McCall should apply for it as his vast managerial talent is wasted on us. Edited December 1, 2010 by Big Col
Charlie Endell
I think that Ian McCall should apply for it as his vast managerial talent is wasted on us. I'm sure a large cheque from Wiggy Milne (or not so wiggy now) would ease our pain in such an event. However, as the baa baa men can't afford a toaster I don't hold out much hope. He has a good thing going at Inverness and would do well to stay well away from Furryboots are ye fae City. Let someone else get them relegated. I still have nightmares about Bertie taking us up there and then defending for 90-mins. FFS we didn't even attack corners!

Paulo
They can't afford compensation, so I think Butcher is out. It'll be a choice between Gus MacPherson, John Hughes, Calderwood and (if they can afford it), Strachan.
