thomas
Let me check in work, but usually the trains will start later on the 2nd Jan but run as normal to last train, as its part of the TS Squire agreement when first took over the franchise, (no bank holiday services), also the winter timetables have been released yet, so that may also be why nothing is showing up online, they start 11th Dec this year
uberteeb
Train won't be possible, same thing happened in the Challenge Cup a couple of seasons ago, must be the Sunday service.
Jaggernaut
Anybody would think that the SFL are trying their best to reduce attendances to an absolute minimum.
lady-isobel-barnett
Anybody would think that the SFL are trying their best to reduce attendances to an absolute minimum. Without doubt that's the SFL's field of expertise. Given a considerable proportion of their support lives outside Dingwall many County fans will have difficulty getting to the game as well. New Year and Boxing Day fixtures should be for derby games only. By playing Challenge Cup games midweek at least a couple of Saturday's could have been freed up. joejag
At least I am only an hours drive away!! Weather permitting!!!
Rid Skwerr
There was a theory expressed here the last time this happened that the SFL just swap us and ICT in the fixture computer and the result is that we get this idiotic "derby"fixture. I wouldn't put it past them!

Definitely seems to be a Sunday service in the SPT area. I'd assume it'll be the same elsewhere too.
Jaggernaut
Ross County and Thistle should get together to come up with an alternative date for this match. It's one of the worst scheduling decisions I can remember. Even a midweek slot between now and Jan 2nd would be preferable for just about everybody, and would have a bigger attendance. Even if you could get the train would you chance it? I mean chances are it will be called of with the weather and we will play it mid week in January anyways! I would love for it to be called of - only game home or away I can't make this season because of work! gutted!

Not relevant to Ross County, but, it's a Sunday service on 2nd January on the Helensburgh/Balloch/Motherwell/Airdrie etc. services.
