Fawlty Towers
Maybe some of the money from the 50/50 tickets should be set a side for this competition? What are the average sales of tickets in the 50/50 draw? If 50% of the money raised by the 50/50 draw goes towards youth development then what if a percentage of this money was spent on buying cans? Assuming, say 400-500 buy tickets on Saturday, that amounts to £200-£250. Split than in half and the Youth Development is looking at £100-£150. If you set a side £25, you could go to Lidl and buy 120 cans of Irn-Bru. Speculate to accumulate? That is a good idea and I will, with your permission, take it to the club. Regards the sales of 50/50 tickets this season - the average prize is £318 (taking all games into account) which means that 1,272 tickets are sold on average. As I have said previously this is a great effort from the fans and the support we are receiving is very much appreciated!
Members Willjag
Yep good idea NS. Adding to it, why not give the cans away the following week to anyone that buys a 50-50 ticket and tell them to make sure they deposit the empty in the can bin? Chicofan
Its a scunner this.....am pretty sure I'm barred (pardon the pun) from doing anything to help this. Only an hour ago I sent nearly 9000 cans to the crusher!

Fawlty Towers
With us having a few away games this may have fallen off the radar but just a reminder to keep collecting your cans so you can take them to Firhill for the home game on the 24th of March - thanks! PaleGreySky
How's everyone getting on with this? Pretty sure I've got most of the aluminium in Scotland in my flat. Will take them all towards the end of the competition.

Fawlty Towers
Excellent to see just before kick off that the collection bin outside the JHS was absolutely full, the one in the foyer of the Main Stand was also nearly full so it will be interesting to see where we stand when the table is eventually updated. Fawlty Towers
Does anyone know if the other barrs cans count? Yes, it is all Barrs cans so even if you don't drink irn bru you can still contribute to us winning £10,000.
Alan Murray
There is a collection bin outside my local butchers, which I presume will be for Clyde. It is precariously positioned just inside the shop. I am sure I could get away with nicking it!

Fawlty Towers
The first update has been put out and although we are not included it does give us an idea of what we are up against: http://www.irn-bru.co.uk/tfyt/ We are enjoying some lovely weather at the moment so quench your thirst with an irn bru (or other Barrs product) and take your cans along to Firhill on Saturday. Thanks!
