I think Doolan's from down that way but don't they have Heffernan, Sheridan, and are trying to keep Boyd? Don't see why they'd go for Doolan before they lose out on higher targets. Paton then tweets that he's just spoke to Doolan and that he's off to Killie. IMO Paton has received word that Doolan's is staying on with us and is winding people up. paralytic thistle Posted May 21, 2013 Report Share Posted May 21, 2013 I know this may sound a bit Machiavellian, however, could it just be that Doolan has been made an offer and a poor one at that, might not even be Kilmarnock, and therefore would prefer to stay at Firhill, but with a slightly enhanced package than what he has been offered, and has inveigled Paton in a cunning plan in the hope that Thistle can push out the boat when he turns up for contract talks.
