Third Lanark
Terrible news and as mentioned by others such a young age as well. Thoughts go to his family at this very sad time. Rip Colin
The Jukebox Rebel
As a wee boy he became my new hero after Dougie Somner had left. Old Rangers just used to buy anybody that terrorised them. The big man was top of their most wanted list. I hope the Jags fans can pay their tribute tonight. R.I.P. Colin McAdam
H Wragg
Has he definitely passed away? There is nothing at all showing up on google. Edit - I see the club tweeted about it last night so it's true. I'm just too young to have seen him play for us first time around but it seems he was a bit of a legend at the time. Lost my Dad at 61 so I know only too well that that is too young an age to die. Condolences to his family. Trotter
Just awoke this morning to find out this sad news. Nothing really to add to what's already been said. Thoughts to his family. RIP.
Harrybriscoe
Got a run home to Drumchapel in my teens from football training down at Dumbarton by big Colin in his Ford Capri which was awesome. Really decent guy and I'm so sorry to hear the news. RIP big man. Hope there is some recognition prior to the game tonight.
Lindau
Great minutes applause tonight for the big fella (and Neil). Got told at the game tonight it was a sudden massive heart attack. No previous signs of ill health hence why it has come as a total shock. Team done him proud tonight! Duck snort
Colin McAdam is the reason I'm a Jags fan so I've got a lot to thank the big man for. He taught at the same school as my dad at about the time I first showed an interest in football and he provided us with tickets throughout his time at Firhill. Very saddened to hear of his passing. Fitting tribute with the minutes applause for him and Neil Duffy tonight.
GrantB
Minute's applause was excellent tonight, especially making it about Neil Duffy as well. Got to hand it to the Utd fans who all seemed to join in as well. I felt a bit emotional, big Beastie was one of my first Jags heroes. I hope the team spirit shown tonight was a fitting tribute to his memory.

crazy davie
Very sad news. I used to idolise The Beast and was so angry when the h u n s stole him off us. As was mentioned earlier, he made as excellent a job of centre half as he did of centre forward.
