There's no way Kris Doolan is frustrated. Never have I seen a player so in control of his emotions and so balanced.

 

The guy loves it at Firhill and is clearly delighted to have a footballing career.

 

Indeed. Just dummying the ball for Erskine on Saturday backs that up.

 

A "frustrated" striker wouldn't have been so selfless. There's a sense of duality about Doolan. As a striker he's got confidence in his scoring ability in so much he'll convert a high enough of percentage opportunities. That confidence carries over to leaving, passing or as seen on Saturday, dummying balls best placed for someone else.

 

Kris can play brilliant and look poor on a highlights package and, on very rare occasions thankfully, the opposite . I've always said that Doolan shouldn't be judged solely on his goal return or even his many assists as he often provides dummy runs. True professional on and off the park.
