I was in Somerset early last week even earlier this week. Get in Jags.

Can't remember when I was last in a ground this early. Good selection. Go for it from kickoff.

What a night. Friday night football is magical. In the early part of the season I couldn't understand what McMillan was doing out there. He's either our most improved player or as usual I don't know my arse from my elbow. That match just sucked my grandson back in.(He'd been wavering after Cove/Hamilton)

Really looking forward to this. Came back to Scotland for the second leg against Queens and then couldn't get a ticket. Every time we play Ayr at Firhill I'm haunted by the pathetic goal we conceded many years ago to get relegated. My wife was at one of her few live matches and said afterwards she thought someone had died. Mind you we nearly did. Play as we did at Ochilview and there should be no issue. (For those paying attention Crues won 4_0. Thanks for asking)

Wasn't meant to be there today, but happy enough to see that. Graham was woeful. I often wonder if a player pays any attention to our opinions. I like Graham and don't really want to run him down, but he was woeful in my opinion. I was an absolutely crap football player, and couldn't lace his boots. Does spending £20 ( plus two pies and £10 half time draw) entitle me to pass judgement on his performance? Also should I post after eight pints?

Wonderful second half. Couldn't pick out a mom. Easy drive home after that. Enjoy Belfast Elevenone.

Heading home this weekend and won't be back till after the Irish Cup final. If we come first or fifth it's my last game. I've seen us done twice by Queens this season, so hoping for a considerable change. I'm giving a Queens fan a lift up tonight so let's hope I'm the one smiling on the way home. I know it's not over yet but it's been a real up and down season. Between cracking home wins over Inverness and dire losses to Cove and Accies. Sublime to ridiculous as they say. (and that's only on the pitch)

Great win despite all our attempts to blow it late on. I really enjoyed that. Still in the hunt.

I liked Ian. I felt he was a proper Jags man. I'm sorry he's gone in the fashion he's gone in. But I can't wait for today's game. I can't remember a match this season, I've looked forward to as much. I'm glad it's at Somerset. I've never seen us win there. We'll see how I feel nursing my first pint tonight.

Hamilton in the first half were the worst away team I've seen at Firhill since Morton beat us 1-0 one night. I was going to pick Mullen out for special mention, but that would be unfair. Poor poor performance and playoffs would only embarrass us more.

f*** Darvel. As long as we get there.
-
When I'm in Scotland and Thistle are away from home I try to take in Darvel games. The WOSFL is a much higher standard than I ever imagined and Darvel stand out in it. Every week they play as they did last night. They would give many Championship teams a game. They are a friendly club in a friendly town, and I was very pleased to be there last night. Aberdeen were pretty poor

Two full hours of utter utter shit. We are a poor side. I love penalties

I was at that match. I'm a Crusaders season ticket holder. Though this season I've nearly seen more Thistle matches. You should see Seaview today, unrecognisable. Proper toilets and running water. The last twenty years are a great example of how a club can be turned round.
-
Is that at Seaview?
-
Not a great game. We've played better and lost. Looked like a decent crowd but atmosphere seemed a bit flat. I still left with a smile on my face.

Good performance tonight, and should have scored more. Fitzpatrick is red hot, and whatever role Turner is playing it works. I left at 5-1 to try and get home for a few pints, and wondered what the cheer was for.(red card) Not to take anything away from us tonight, but they're woeful. I'm heading home next week and will miss the Queen's game. I've seen them do us twice this season and would love to get some revenge. There's a lot more to life than football, but the last couple of weeks have lifted my mood. I hope you all enjoy your break.

A well deserved slapped wrist, taken in the spirit it was meant.
-
Cracking game. We owned the first nine minutes and then conceded. I thought here we go. Real character showed through. A few weeks ago we'd have lost that. Fitzpatrick was excellent. (Milne will go in the January window. Better teams than us must be looking at him.) Disappointing crowd.

Had a score today at 8/1 with Ladbrokes to win title. Better odds available for those who bet on line. Working on the theory improvements off the pitch will translate to improvements on the pitch. The next two games (which I hope to attend) will give good guidance. Long way to go yet.

I hope you're feeling better Phil. Is the site reopening? I need a new hoodie.

Despite my reservations about fan ownership, I've decided to get off the fence. Just joined TJF. Over the last few months I've bought no merchandise for myself or my grandson. Started paying concession rate rather than full price (which I viewed as a donation). Stopped buying 50/50 tickets, and no longer indulge in a pie etc. In the absence of an agreed strategy I don't know whether this is the best action or not. I can't help feeling nothing will change until 1000 fans are stood in the car park refusing to enter.

That's a really brittle team. At halftime all I wanted was the final whistle.
