  1. I've had Hearts supporting mates come with me to Firhill. I've never gone to Tynecastle though - but my reasoning is that Thistle need extra people through the turnstyle, I've had Rangers, Celtic, Ayr United, Clyde, Falkirk, Fulham fans etc and last home game I had two Hammarby(Sweden) fans at the game and would repay the favour by visiting those stadiums too(apart from Old Firm). End of the day if getting money through the gate for Thistle and getting to see a game of football, if I pay to go to another stadium and watch someone elses team I am still watching the game I love.
  2. I am Honved, do you have anymore details about this? Or a link to it?
  3. Just tweeted that he's up in Glasgow 2moro - 6 month loan - but not confirmed yet.
  4. Just like to point out that this girl is 17 and Johnny Lindsay is 19. That's legal.. right? Edit: she might be 16...
  5. Similar story happened to my brother (not the most die hard of Thistle/football fans - but still names the Jags as his team) is mates with this girl at school (a stunner apparently!) But was at a party with this girl and her boyfriend, my brother asks this geezer why he didnt go to school anymore, said he was a footballer. Just signed for Partick Thistle - Johnny Lindsay. He's a decent guy apparently and stayed off the drink the whole night. Good man.
  6. Kurtis Byrne - been kicking about the lower leagues on loan last couple of seasons. Nothing special.
  7. I see Ayr United are being heavily invested in by this Bodog geezer(investing in them because his name is Calvin Ayre - Ayr United! Couldnt make it up.) but if they do get promoted I wonder how much he will invest, enough to be full time, enough to be good? Who knows! But there fans certainly think they'll be a force with him backing and reckon full time if they beat Brechin on Sunday.
  8. Ayr - out with Rangers and Celtic I think I most of my mates fan base would be Ayr. And my flatmate is an Ayr fan, would be nice to beat them 4 times a season. Also I will be in attendance for Ayr v Forfar on Saturday, I do like Somerset.
  9. I am going and I am looking forward to it - visiting a new stadium and watching a football match?! What is there not to look forward too?
  10. :worshippy: :worshippy: I bow down to your knowledge. Thanks
  11. Anyone know when the last time Thistle won a player or manager of the month, I cant remember at all?
  12. Guessing it'll be the same as every other player who has been suggested would do a job for us - priced out of it, can't afford them etc etc.
  13. Fox and Erskine sign new deals. Excellent news.
  14. I see Bannigan loan has been extended to the end of the season, which I think is excellent for him. To play in a team week in week out that is challenging for the 2nd Division, could be great for Thistle next season. Well played McCall.
  15. Thistle take Motherwell striker Robert McHugh on loan. Link Disappointed Ian McCall takes a youngster on loan, instead of giving one of our own youngsters a chance.
  16. What happened to him? I can remember the name but cant think of him in any games at all! Was he as bad as my memory is recalling?
  17. My flatmate is an Ayr United fan, said Bannigan was excellent on Saturday playing Centre Mid. Was everywhere on the pitch and Reid would be daft not to try and resign on for longer on loan. Said his other game he was also excellent - although pretty sure that was against Sunnybank, and got that goal. Heard that McCall will be using him when he gets back but not sure if it will be in the centre of midfield - where he'll look his best. If we do get Hardie then poss Bannigan will get longer loan at Ayr - I'd like to see him get regular games.
  18. Am I the only one who is shocked to see Flannigan name being touted as one to be booted? Grehan and Halliwell I can see, but I can see potential in Flannigan. Although saying that I did think Hodge would become a footballing sensation at Firhill
  19. Kevin Bridges's DVD was excellent very Glasgow based with it being filmed in the SECC and very funny. Another one I would recommend is John Bishop - guy was so funny, and if you like football he talks about that alot. Montage at the start is superb as well.
  20. Thats excellent, cheers for the reply. I definitely fancy Norway sometime this year, so I may need your help/assistance. How much notice do you get for games changing and how easy is it to get tickets? Might take in another city while in Norway, is Oslo far to get to or any other city with good transport links from Stavanger?
  21. I know there's a few Norwegian Jags fans that post in here, so this is probably for you. Looking to book a wee lads trip to Norway but would like to tie it in with a Norwegian football match, but can find when the season runs from. I take it is the same for most of the football in that area of the world. Any advice?
  22. Seen him and his boys and the last home game, Cowdenbeath - only noticed him because Big Mad Mental pointed at him and waved when they were coming out for the second half.
