There was a thread last year regarding the youth teams and how they were getting on. Although I didn't actively post on the thread I was quite interested in reading about our various future stars and their progress. It was a good thread up until the point it degenerated into to some shit-jokeathon with about 2 full pages of excruciating puns. That was the end of that for me. Thread ended which is a real shame... If the mods could create a special 'pun' area of the forum where all yous fun people with a 'great sense of humour' can go and enjoy yourselves without wrecking interesting threads then I think everyone would be happy. Cheers.

Anything less than a win against St Johnstone there and I feel we'd have been favourites for the play off spot. I left Firhill on Saturday feeling more relieved than ecstatic but there are still 27 points up for grabs so we're not in the clear just yet. For selfish reasons I hope St Mirren and Motherwell can do enough to push County down to last place however unlikely that is looking now. Scottish football needs a strong St Mirren and Motherwell. I hate Ross County.

We're in real trouble here. I get the feeling a lot of our players don't want to be at Thistle and have no stomach for a relegation fight and make no mistake, we most definitely in a relegation fight.

To be fair to Collum, I can see why he gave the McManus decision. I'm not saying it was the correct one but there is movement from his hand to ball even though he doesn't touch the ball with his hand. Without the luxury of TV replay, watching that incident in real time it's pretty easy to see why he gave it. He's still an odious wee creep but I think folk were looking for him to make a big mistake this game. This was an easy mistake to make...

Higgy booked for diving... Bizarre decision IMO. Been pretty poor game so far.

As has been said, it's coming together well at the back for us now and we are up against a weak Killie who are low on confidence after having been soundly pumped their last 5 games. We're favourites for this! Killie to win 2-0.
