I wish that Archie would give penrice a chance. He hasn’t done anything wrong. Poor kid must be wondering why he bothered to sign a new deal. Would rather he played than McGinn. McGinn does give 100% but is absolutely useless going forward.

Although we lost, I thought the fans and players were good. The fans kept on supporting the team. Its good to see that as other supporters from other teams would be quick to boo and get on the back of their players if they were in our position.

We need to try and get back to the passing game that was our strength. That’s why we need the old guard back. We should get 100% behind the team. One goal could boost our confidence. Even though we are struggling at the moment, there is still time to turn our season around. Mon the jags!

I think Archie needs to get the old guard in for this one. Lawless, erskine and dools should start. Elliot to right back. Booth at left back. Play Andy McCarthy, drop woods and storey. Play 3 at the back with Barton in the middle cause I don’t feel confident with 2 centre half’s

There has been a number of things that have gone wrong this season. 1. The new signings haven't fitted in very well. 2. We don't pass the ball as much as we used to. 3. Injuries in the 1st half of the season cost us some points. 4. Archie keeps making too many changes to the starting line up Don't think it is one person's fault.

Feel so sorry for the fans that travelled. What time did everyone get back at? Was there any problems with the snow on the way back?

Think the inflamation is the after effects of the knee op. Also apparently he had a blood clot in his knee and loose tissue after the op

Update on banzo. He went to see the surgeon on Thursday. He has inflammation in his knee which is causing the pain. No surgery needed. He got an injection to settle the knee down. He will be out for 6 weeks. Should be back before the end of the season. Hope the club gives him an extended deal to prove his fitness like they did with Gary Fraser.

Bannigan went to London this week to see the same specialist that did his first knee op. He was training with the under 20’s and the first team last week but he felt a bit of pain. Not sure when he will be back

The club is in a much better place than what it was in the bad old days. We need to have a bit of perspective and realise things are not that bad. Archie deserves time

We should all support Archie. Want us to be a club who does things better than a Dundee or killie who just sack their managers all the time. We have just lost our identity this season because of all the injuries. You can tell that the new signings have made it hard for the team to gel. The team spirit isn't as good as it used to be. But we should keep faith with archie. He will turn it around

I'm keeping the faith. Don't want us to end up like Killie and others around us who sack their managers all the time. There is no doubt that the injuries have effected us and any team with those amount of injuries in key positions would struggle. Think we have lost our identity a bit this year. In some ways we have too many new players and lost too many in the last few years. For example, I know Sean Welsh wasn't everyone's cup of tea but I think he was very underrated and did a lot of the dirty work that people didn't notice. We shouldn't have let him go, regardless of his injury record. I think it is important to have a core group of players who have been at the club for a long time and we at paying the price at the moment for our turnover of players. Archie should stay regardless of what happens this season. Just hope the board don't panic. Some of the players need to dig in to help archie.

Maybe bringing back kyle hutton might be worth a shout, if sean welsh isn't kept on

Delighted the big man has come back. I predicted this would happen back in the summer. But recently I didn't think it would happen cause he has been in the starting 11 for united. He will be match fit which is great. I think we have missed him a lot because we don't play down the middle as much as we did last season. This will be a boost for everyone. Welcome home Chris !

The bbc gossip column says we have signed paul gallacher. Quite pleased if this is true. Maybe he could be the goalkeeper coach aswell.

Everyone has forgotten Marc Twaddle. Cracking player when he was with us. But his career has gone off track by the looks of things. He was at ayr this season but hasn't played for a few months. Not sure if he was injured. Might be worth taking a look at as back up to sinclair.

Would quite like to see tuffey back at firhill. Possibly Marc McNulty from livingston, although not sure if he is out of contract. Lyle Taylor might be out of our price range as a team from down south will be more likely to sign him. Peter McDonald is a good player but get lots of injuries. I would keep McMillan and Dowie. Not sure about Elliot. Maybe we should bring him back for pre season and take another look at him. To be fair to the guy he has improved alot since his loan spell.

Not the best of days. If we had passed the ball anywhere near what we have done all season then we would have won. Even though the league is more important, still gutted that we lost. Fox played really well, which sums up what we were like. I thought queens were average which shows how bad we were. Forbes should have been on the park much earlier. He made a big difference. Our discipline had been very bad this season. Muirhead should have ignored the queens players but i suppose it is hard to do that in the heat of the moment. Im sure he will learn for this. Chris higgins was a disgrace. If our captain did that i would be ashamed. Ref should have sent the queens goalkeeper off but he didnt have the guts. Great support today. Todays result is hard to take but its not the end of the world. We are in a great position in the league and im sure we can get back on track on wednesday.

Very pleased with this. It gives us some stability. Quite pleased hugh murray isnt the number 2 as i dont think he has enough experience. Great to see big Scott back with us. Hopefully the game will be on this saturday because it will be good for the players to get back into the swing of things. You would imagine that archie would take himself out of the team and put muirhead at centre back. Onwards and Upwards. Mon the Jags.

I could watch that ross forbes goal all day long. Amazing strike.

Brilliant game. Awful defending by us. Queens had 4 chances in the whole game and scored all of them. However in the past we might have lost that game but tonight we didnt give up. Look at morton losing tonight. It shows that it does not matter how you win. The important thing is that we are into the next round. With archie and shuggie back on saturday we will be more solid. Hope sean welsh is ok.

Should have won by more. Lawless looks like a decent player. Sean Welsh was good running at the opposition. I think i encountered the loudest speakers in scottish football in alloa's main stand. My ears are still recovering. Some of their fouling was awful. Saw the ref told the alloa player to be subbed becuase he would have sent him off in a compeitive game.

Thank god. They finally showed some courage and said no to the new-co in the first division. Correct decision. Proud to be a jags fan.
