  1. I'm combining visiting an old mate and going to an FA cup game Weston Super Mare V Doncaster Rovers Shame the rain fcuked up an eagerly awaited afternoon
  2. I managed to get hold of a couple of tickets courtesy of a good friend looking forward to it. More rockier but still a great band Rival Sons are coming about a fortnight later.
  3. True, and he works hard as well, which is important in my book.
  4. I'm going to be down in Bristol for the weekend i hope the boys can do the business I hope somebody with sense In the SFA (I know that's a contradiction in terms) saw Goodwin's elbow on the young Dundee Utd player and bans the thug.
  5. Snowing it was too, lucky to get the game finished, some poor lad next to me had backed the Jags to win 5-0to say he was peed off when the Accies got a consolation goal was an understatement 7th Feb 2004
  6. Thank goodness the rules have been changed this year for the cup 85 minutes instead of 90
  7. As someone once said to me, "I'd love to have morals, I just can't afford them"
  8. A shout for Jordan Mcmillan would have been nice, his contribution this season has been great. He's got the commitment that Stevenson lacks
  9. For what it's worth i thought Conrad had a good game on Saturday, and the steadying influence of Big Dan will only improve him If Fredric struts about the pitch thinking he's destined for better things then i for one won't want him Time will tell.
  10. This makes very interesting reading can it happen over here ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29624410
  11. My love of Blues music I wish it had been something clever and witty
  12. Seems he's been involved with the Jags before
  13. Back in the late eighties whenI worked for the Fire Service, and we were told that one of the Pumps (Fire Engine would be making a trip to Firhill for a familiarisation visit should there ever be a fire there.(there was one in the past) I persuaded someone to let me take his place on the pump and spent two happy hours at my favorite place on earth. I took my camera at got a few photos, one with Sandy Clark and one with Chicco
  14. Two places I refuse to go Parkhead and Ibrox, I have been there in the past and I detest them.
  15. The importance of the impending midweek game against Morton, put that clown's performance into perspective Diddy cup anyway!
  16. I watched his performance in our last game against St Johnstone and he was just brilliant and did he make the Sunday mail team of the day ? no Sinccy made the said team and he was pretty quiet that day, go figure
  17. From Fish's FB page. And they're not even relegated yet... "For non footy fans out there do not read this Sitting in a dark and lonely studio trying not to break down and cry after a totally shite afternoon at the end of a totally shite week. ... The worst Hibs team I have seen for a very very long time blew it against Killie and are now in the play offs which I have very little faith in us overcoming. If I had a band that played like that I would have fired practically every one of them after the gig. We were dreadful, no fight in the second half, bossed by a Killie side that was no great shakes and without Boyd, who put in a superb strike, no threat. I have supported this team all my life but after this performance they do not deserve it. I am so pissed off just now. How could a club be allowed to decay like we have over the years and to be allowed to get into this present state. There were 15000 true and loyal fans who went along today and nearly everyone left with little hope of supporting a Premier league side next season. St Johnstone, Motherwell, St Mirren and others all do far better than us with less resources and Hearts despite the 15 point deduction at the start of the season have now won more points than we have with a team that had more balls and fight and pride in the badge than us. We have become constant under achievers and the fans deserve a hell of a lot more. Shame on you Hibernian FC , shame on you. I am totally embarrassed by what has happened to us."
  18. Words fail me, I have been going to Firhill on and off for the best part of forty years, and the atmosphere in the NS is great. My seat in the JHS is excellent, great view, nice folk about me, next to the tunnel so it's handy for the toilets and the food stall. I gladly sacrifice this for the great feeling I get in the NS even at the expense of a poorer view of the whole pitch. Crazy decision.
  19. Use Photobucket or similar to upload pics to internet Allyo
  20. Yes I agree, not as forwarded-minded as SOD, but pretty solid at the back.
  21. I had a bit of a hassle getting to the game, but thankfully i made it, myself and Danish Jag must have hugged each other silly during that blinding second half. I can't make Saturday due to work but my lad will get my season ticket and enjoy the party. pure magic.
  22. That extra £4 will mean the pie and bovril will be given a miss, so Hearts won't gain from me and my waistline will will get a break
  23. I still remember Lee f*****g Robinson, so no way was i going to shout for RR
  24. I used to work with Brian Winter, who told me once, "I always look after the Jags when I'm at Firhill" i suspect there will always be biased Refs. Bring back Mr Winter i say
  25. I remember yonks ago some twat throwing a bottle at Willie Miller I was shocked one minute and proud the next as a big space formed about him and he was removed from the ground, back in the drinks allowed at games days.
