  1. Clyde do indeed seem to have an excellent PR operation...the envy of many a Club these last few weeks. Come on Thistle, just say you voted 'NO' and we can move on. I want to enjoy the ARR Craib Cup!
  2. I'll let you know if I get a response; but as you say, the most important outcome would be a simple clear public statement of how we voted today (and why)
  3. Indeed David. But a few of us have written to the Club this afternoon asking for public confirmation of 'NO' vote. It will be telling what the reaction is over the next 24 hours...
  4. And to think that we have a PR 'professional' at our Club. How hard is it to issue a clear statement that we voted NO. Ffs Thistle, get a grip; Season Ticket money depends on this
  5. Who was the second Brechin? Thanks Junior!
  6. Regan email leaked, see Alex Thomsons C4 blog. His position is now untenable.
  7. Owen Coyle just been spotted walking up to Hampden...
  8. Insightful stuff, Mr Stevenson. What I'm sure of is that Doncaster & Regan are now plotting life after newco being punted into SFL3. Wonder if they have thought what to do if they get rejected from SFL3 too? It might accelerate their sudden lust for SPL2 by invitation only. They should both resign
  9. I believe it is an 11am start preceded by a possible fans demo at 10:30. In terms of when results reported, depends on how things go. Mid-afternoon?
  10. Aye, tempted by the breakfast hospitality; hopefully a chance to enjoy Thistle playing with the spectre of newco banished out of SFL1
  11. Paddy was a decent player, much maligned in his early days at Thistle, but showed some skill & versatility before his move to the Pars. I wish him well
  12. If Thistle vote anything other than 'no' to newco in Div 1, having chosen not to consult the fans, it would be a travesty. Yes to reconstruction, no to newco.
  13. The statements from Clyde and Raith Rovers tell it like it is. They have some good communicators at those clubs and Boards willing to show support for issues of fairness and integrity. Fair play to them
  14. As Double Ugly and others above say, the SFL should uncouple league reconstruction and the newco issue. Yes to the former, SFL3 application for the latter. If Regan or Doncaster try to make reconstruction dependent upon newco getting an SFL1 berth, then it's coercion and blackmail
  15. So now that the SFA have failed to do the right thing, how will our Club Board attendee vote on Friday? It would be nice to get some clarity on PTFC intentions....statement five anyone?

    I'm Off!

    Bye (waves at Tom)
  17. Whatever happens on Friday, the actions and words of the main pro-newco perpretrators will not be forgotten for a long time. Regan, Traynor, Doncaster, Burley... It's like a roll-call of shame
  18. MP, a fans gathering tomorrow and a united statement addressed to our Club Board, would be worth a shot to keep the issue warm before Friday 13th. I'd offer to organise, but I'm 250 miles from Alloa this week. But any gathering and/or petition can have my remote support.
  19. As they used to say, 'Smile, you're in Alloa'. Gonna miss this game cos I'm up north this week, but I admire what Paul Hartley has done there. Should be a good one. Mon the Jags!
  20. That'll be Antonia working her magic behind the scenes...
  21. If that's what Craig Burley says, I'm proud to be a muppet. Better than being a tool
  22. It might simplify things on July 13th if Newco took that reality pill and asked in advance to be considered for application into SFL3. That would enable the SPL to give Dunfermline & Dundee a fair play-off and the SFL to deal with the reshuffling of the likes of Airdrire etc. Incidentally I saw the Wee Red Book on sale today; just how out of date will those fixtures be in 3 weeks time...
  23. Don't think I'll be visiting Ochilview again in a hurry; poor show Stenny
