  1. Depending on results, we could be sitting in 6th at 5pm
  2. Inverness got the winners of Cumbernauld and Stirling.
  3. You Dont Know Who You Are? not sure I know what thats supposed to mean? is it the same as when an artist draws something unknown or bizarre and your not allowed to question it? haha
  4. I said it before and I'll say it again, we need more songs. We have hauf a dozen at best which are all done in the 2nd minute, then repeated 50 times. We need to hijack some classics like the green brigade have done but make them our own. Where are all the song writers oot there??
  5. My Aberdeen supporting pal said the pie he had earlier on this season was one of the best he's had too. Wit a week its been, debt free, 3 points and complements to the chef
  6. Seen the highlights on sky sports, Osman looked well inside the box but done his best to jump over the 18 yard line. That would have been sickening if he had given the penalty. That's our bit of luck everyone has been crying for. Fantastic result though and a chance to go on a decent run. When you look at the fixtures up till Christmas there isnt any games that should be feared and are certainly all winnable. Keep it goin Jags
  7. it doesnt take into account away matches when the cost including travel is significantly more, still good to see how we compare to other clubs in the league
  8. If Archie was even considered for the united post I'm sure there fans would be delighted with that....
  9. non of the above. celtic have hijacked kingston town, i just cant get enough, toy town etc. we need to hijack one of our own and make it ours. we currently only have aboot 4 ye can sing that take up 20 seconds. "wit can we sing noo?.... how aboot the 1st wan again?" ken wit a mean
  10. On a similiar subject, we need more songs to sing at the games. Other than the 'Maryhill is wonderful'song which is fairly recent the rest are as old as the main stand. It would be good to come up with more of our own, like wit Celtic have done only with different songs and lyrics.
  11. If your relying on luck in football then to be honest you shouldn't be on the park. We had 3, glorious chances ( at least) where the ball should have been in the net. Doolan, ball comes perfect to him inside the box, no one near him an he scuffs a shot past the post from 16 yards. Stevo, played in with the keeper to beat, scuds the Baw aff the post. Then the header, unmarked, unchallenged, has tae score. Wit I'm getting at is we jist blooter the Baw instead of pickin our spot. I'll jist scud it as hard as I can an hope it goes on target. This is there job, if ye relied on luck being an electrician then you wouldn't last long an I'm afraid yesterday there were a few that cost us the game, if not the managers head. Its not good enough to say we were unlucky, not at all. The goal we concede isn't unlucky, that was nothing short of a disgrace. He picks the Baw up 2 yards inside his own hauf an goes unchallenged to the edge of oor box. The manager wis a defender ffs. As much as I like big Liam, he should get his erse kicked fir no stopping him 40 yards fae goal
  12. Summer football is the way forward. 100%. The biggest turn off is the weather. The pitches are rotten, grass doesn't grow. Id guarantee that attendences would improve then, no need for floodlights etc also. Shirt sales would rocket. Most people would like to go wearing there short sleeved colours instead of under 3 layers of woolly jumpers. As I said the whole system needs looked at. A good point raised oot of norgethistle's post is the pricing of other things like the cinema etc. But would it be enjoyable if u were to watch it on a big screen ootside on a cold, wet December afternoon? Get the basics right and it can only get better
  13. It's not just Thistle its the whole system that's wrong. It should capped at £10 for adults an £5 for the rest throughout the full of Scottish fitbaw. In perspective as things are the now I don't think the £25 is that bad a deal. You can still get an adult season ticket an sit whereever ye want with your sons/daughters if you cant get a season ticket for them as they will get in for nothing. Its not ideal but lets face it you wont be hard pushed to get 4 or 5 seats together in the Jackie husband. At the end of the day there are options there and its your choice what you do
  14. There must be other avenues the club can explore to generate funds. The firhill cup is one of these but there must be more. I remember my Falkirk supporting pal win an auctioned off place to play for a Falkirk XI v Rangers XI. Its only one idea but things like that generate interest. My point above about the £25 season ticket, ud be hard pushed to find a better deal than that, a pound something a game per season. Its understandable that times may be tough an money short but to have a greet aboot the scheme to charge to book a seat is a bit much. Why is it so ridiculous? LSR, what is your point? I thought a concession season ticket already had a charge? They are booking a seat. I don't know what you expect. Jist have a think about it, its not so bad really.
  15. Its common sense if not common courtesy more than anything else. Crass it is not.
  16. The club according to some posts appears to be struggling for money yet some people would grudge paying £25 for a season ticket for their kid. £25 for a full year. Get your wallet oot an part with your hard earned dough ffs. At the end of the day your helping the club and might get to watch a couple of decent players for that extra £25. What do you expect, players to play for nothing? The club policy of kids go free is already a great scheme but to hold back £25 that gives you a wee card with your own seat, unbelievable.
  17. If I wis higgy, I would sign anything after the season he has had. As has been said by erchie, the grass isn't always greener. We have stuck by him too, should we not get any loyalty? Good to see his reaction at the end an hopefully he will sign a contract to keep him for the next 2 year. We all know how good he can be on his day. A bit like Erskine in that respect, when he's good he's good but when he's bad we get beat
  18. The sale of alcohol in football grounds is irrelevant. How many drinks can ye get at hauf time? They would likely cost a fortune too which would likely dissuade any 'binge' drinking. What's the difference between fans gettin tanked up before the match when there's pubs only yards from the ground? There's no place for rascists or bigots anywhere in Scotland and stronger punishments should in place instead of a insignificant fine and banning order. The club took the correct action and instead of brushing it under the carpet made some kind of example of him
  19. God forbid if Lawless is suspended over this, if McMillan's suspension term is anything to go by, he will be out of contract by the time he's allowed back.
  20. I hope im wrong but Archie's starting XI again this week like the cup tie leaves it open to question. I would have at least dropped banzo and kept stevo or dools with taylor. At least this week were playing with a striker and not the 4-6-0 tactic. Need a big perfomance from bannigan and fraser today if were going to get anything. We need at least a point out this game as the remaining fixtures look grim aside from county and maybe motherwell.
  21. Bannigan is a left back an that's where he should play every week. As fir craigan, the boy totally rips yer knitting. Cannae shoot, cannae pass. Tried tae kick a baw 6 feet above his heed wae a Dundee laddie standin next tae him which ultimately led to their goal. Were fcuked wen he's playing. It makes ye want tae turn the car roon wen ye see his name on the startin 11. He scored eventually but should of had 3. Anyone that wis at the game yesterday that cannae see that are deluded. lawless must be wondering how that is keepin him oot the team
  22. correct. if we signed a 6'3'' striker the last thing id be thinking about him doing is defend corners
  23. Totally Agree, Watmore would be a really good signing and fit in with our style of play. tore us apart in the friendly
  24. Just one thing im unclear about, higgy takes the baw by the keeper and goes down without claiming for a penalty and lawless keeps the baw in play. Why was the game then stopped and him booked when the chance was still there?
