  1. It’s an absolute disgrace that the Old Firm fixture is always guaranteed to be two home games each. Also, if I’m not mistaken, they actually published the date and time of the final post-split Old Firm game several weeks before the split had even been decided. Not only does it completely undermine the rest of the teams in the competition, but it also brings the sporting integrity (remember that phrase?) of the league into question. Those in charge would have no problem sending Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts or Killie to Celtic Park or Ibrox for a third time, but they wouldn’t dare send either cheek away to the other for a third time. Scottish football is rotten to the core. I don’t think we realise just how good we had it when the newco were in the lower leagues. I went off on a bit of a tangent there, but aye, I fully expect us to be shafted over our fixtures in some way or another.
  2. I’ll happily buy said moron a pint. Ross deserves every bit of abuse he gets and more. He’s an absolute scumbag.
  3. Well that’s just nonsense, isn’t it? The ‘Scottish cringe’ at its very worst.
  4. Booth was outstanding on Saturday. Best player on the pitch.
  5. Looking at our run of fixtures between now and the split, it really brings home how damaging today’s collapse could be. Hamilton (A), County (A), Aberdeen (H), Hearts (A), Hibs (A) and Killie (H). In my opinion, we really need six points from our next two games to give us a fighting chance. Given we’ve managed a solitary victory on the road so far this season, that will be easier said than done. Archie’s record against the top six clubs has been well documented recently, so we can pretty much forget taking any points from our last four games pre-split. It really has been a dreadful season.
  6. This kind of result has been a constant feature of Archibald’s reign. Sick to death of it.
  7. There’s been a lot of criticism directed towards Archibald for his record against the Old Firm and for his approach to these games. A lot of this criticism has been perfectly valid. Conversely, his record against the bottom six clubs, particularly over the last two seasons, has been excellent. He seems to have the knack of winning crucial ‘six pointers’ against our peers. We’re all disappointed to be out the cup, but we shouldn’t lose all hope.
  8. The club are too busy pandering to the Old Firm scum to care about our own fans having to sit in squalor.
  9. QOS fan on P & B is saying that there isn’t much snow in Dumfries at all.
  10. What a state some people are getting themselves into over this. I suppose they have to find their negativity from somewhere after Saturday’s excellent win. Pathetic.
  11. How much is Gary Fraser being paid each week? Who would you have signed to replace him?
  12. The hospitality was absolutely fantastic yesterday. Would thoroughly recommend it.
  13. Are we any smaller than St Johnstone, Ross County or Inverness? Clubs who have enjoyed long periods in the top flight, European football and have lifted major trophies recently. Of course we’re not. We’ve earned the right to be in this league. Out of the 42 senior teams in Scotland, only the Old Firm, Hibs, Hearts, Aberdeen and maybe the two Dundee clubs are significantly bigger than us.
  14. We’re four points from safety. In what world would a draw against a relegation threatened side who haven’t won at home in seven months be considered a ‘great’ result? This is our fith season in the Premiership and we’re still blighted by a small club mentality. It’s almost like we apologise for being in the league. Embarrassing.
  15. I suggest you contact the club immediately. Your medical and scientific knowledge is clearly way beyond that of anyone currently employed at Firhill.
  16. Manhandling two young fans out of a stadium for flying two inoffensive flags is completely unacceptable. To say they can have no complaints is outrageous given some of the flags on display in the home end. Fair play to the fans who backed them up when the stewards moved in.
  17. If I was this negative after taking 7 points in 7 days, I think I would just pack it in and find something else to do on a Saturday afternoon. Congratulations on finding a way to have a pathetic little dig at the Manager too.
  18. Who would you have taken off? If you had been at the game, you would have realised that Doolan and Storey were linking up well throughout.
  19. Which substitution(s) would you have made and why?
  20. Apart from err, last season, when we went on an amazing run after winning at Ross County, securing our highest top flight finish for 30 odd years.
  21. I suspect you weren't at Dingwall last week.
  22. It's amusing, isn't it? They want consistent top six finishes, they demand better defenders, they demand that Archie improves - just don't expect them to turn up to Firhill anytime soon. Incredible arrogance and delusion. I have to laugh at the usual suspects using our poor run of form towards the end of last season as a stick to beat Archie with by adding them on to our games so far this season, giving us the '9 straight defeats' statistic. You can be sure that the same posters would still be on here with the knives out had we won our last ten games of last season before losing our first four of this season. Some pretty pathetic excuses for supporters on here.
  23. If we draw EK and have to play them away from home, there's no chance of the game going ahead at K Park. It will be moved to Hamilton, Airdrie or Broadwood.
  24. 3 unseeded teams. The groups are made up of 5 teams each.
