She managed Stirling Uni in the lowland league.

If you read the Wigan forums he was bought the league 1 title. Very poor until January transfer window, got a load of money got promotion, then sacked 3months into the next season because he had a terrible start. Went to Chesterfield won 3 games out of 29. Sacked again. Talks a good game ,but seems to find it near enough impossible to get results on the park.

Hope your wrong BR. If he was to stop playing because Caldwell has been sacked because I really don't see anybody else scoring on a regular basis.

Wrong. I would not have slagged Thistle of for sacking Gerry Collins. Or suck up to the so called old firm.

Our last board appointed the wrong person. I think if you look at their record at their previous clubs, that gives you an idea of how it might go. Caldwells managerial record before he came to us was poor. Now I think he will find it extremely difficult to get a managerial job in football at a decent level.

I said when Archibald was sacked we had to get the right person in to replace him. We didn't, cant afford to make that mistake again.

Agree with all comments. It is not easy for the person who has the illness who knows what the final prognoses is. Also not easy for family and friends to watch their loved one go thru it. RIP Fernado

Agree with you that Archie is head and shoulders above Caldwell. But I think that Archie has had his time as Thistle manager. Best for him to go and see how he does at another club. We will probably be looking for another manager soon.

The programme for yesterday has some great quotes in it and excellent value at only £2. As I say some great quotes, but this part of the Hugh Murray quote sums up my thoughts and I also think quite a number of Thistle fans thoughts. 'What was Thistle thinking when they let him go?!?!' Says it all for me.
